Regarding the floor plan, one of my biggest pet peeves is a powder room next to a kitchen, which is basically in the kitchen. It's disgusting 😂 If you could put the door of the powder room on the entryway wall, that could work, but otherwise I would not choose floor plan a or b for that reason.

Fantastic video! I learned a lot and took several pics of the names of the paints you showcased. I'm helping my brother cosmetically renovate his house. You've saved us a lot of time and headaches. Thanks. P.S. Nice touch with the music.

I've recently moved in with my Brother. The house was built 100 years ago, is a fixer upper, and has two small bedrooms and one large Master bedroom. I've moved into one of the small rooms -- a 10' X 9' with a very small closet and bright Lemmon Yellow walls that have various sized holes and patches of peeling paint!!! At least it has lovely dark hardwood floors and doors. Most of my bedroom furniture (that is still in storage) is dark brown much like the floor in the bedroom. The bedroom at 3:52 is the vibe I'm going for, the Forest Wallpaper at 4:23 is quite intriguing, an I have been thinking of wooden planks/boards on the ceiling like in the rooms at 3:52, 9:14, and 10:30. Thank you so much for this video! You've helped me coalesce the various designs I have bouncing around in my head. Now, off to the home improvement stores to grab the essential materials to fix this ghetto-azz bedroom!

I have a big question … I live in a rental apartment on a 6th floor. Can’t do much about it. Door entrance is in the NE. When walking in to the left is the dinning/living room (East) Across the entrance door is the large lanai with big glass doors (East-SW) and across is a very tall building. From the entrance door to the right is the kitchen fallow by my child room (window is SW) and my room (West). My bathroom is in the room’s north side, and second bathroom across my child room door. I being living here for almost a year and I feel the energy inside this home needs improvement, that’s why I’m learning about feng shui. My place is very clean and I decorate with plants and earth colors. Plenty of natural sunlight and windows always open. I bought a small convex bagua mirror (I read in apartments you can put inside, on top of the door frame, facing to the wall. But now reading more and watching videos said should not be in apartments, but other people said to put in lanai to deflect the energy from busy streets/buildings. My husband works in a restaurant with a lot of stressful energy. And I’m a caregiver in a hospis and working with dying seniors. How should I used the convex bagua mirror?

What do you think about illusive green? I'm having such a hard time with bedding. I changed my fixtures to brushed gold ( was always a silver girl ) and OMG it's so beautiful! These colors for some reason reminds me of a golden hour

Hello, I'm having a hard time visualizing the different colors on our house. Is there an app or program where you can upload a pic of your house and try different color schemes, so that we can get a better idea of what the color will look like on our house?

The problem im having right now is the closet space is terribly small and does not fit all my clothes. So i need a dresser. With the dresser, my bed, computer desk, and chair. I have almost no space left. My apartment is in the style of the third example you showed

Great video ! Loved the part about the floorplans. A lot of interior design content on YT focuses a lot on final touches/seasonal decor/etc. This part I feel quite confident about, I know what I like however seeing how you think thz different layouts each with pros and cons is very interesting to me.

I love this content! I hope we get to see you work your design sorcery for this entire project. I am 3rd gen San Francisco Bay Area native, just recently moved to KY. We bought a 1500 sq ft house on 6 acres of woods, meadow and a stream. $130,000. KY is a gorgeous state. Way more lovely than San Francisco. Especially nowadays. The weather is definitely less predictable than CA, but not a deal breaker by any means. I wonder if the clients requested a powder room right by the kitchen? When we were newly married, the first house we bought had a powder room next to the kitchen. When we had guests or parties, honestly, it would get really stinky. It was kinda gross especially when you're preparing hors d'œuvre or drinks for guests. I dunno if I just had a bunch of friends with bad manners, lol. But I purposely chose homes without that floorplan in the future. I really liked the arched windows of design A. with the color scheme of design B. Just my personal taste all the neutral shades your clients requested would absolutely bore me to tears. I need more color in my life!! But I realize that's just personal taste. I really hope we get to see you work your magic 🪄 in this home throughout the entire project!!!

Hello, I have the same issue in my kitchen. I have stove and water sink across each other and I can’t change anything as I bought a brand new house. I put a pothos near my watersink. I have another question as you have mentioned my frontdoor opens directly to my street but it’s perpendicular. Idk what should I do?
