Just Beautiful!!! I’ve not seen this version before!! So far, my favorite production of the Nutcracker has been the North West Pacific ballet company with Mia Rosal playing the peacock to the Arabian dance. I loved it so much I had it tattooed on my back.

What beautiful amazing dancing! But why did that dancer dash in as it was starting, as though he was late getting to his position? What was that about.??
Oh, she is wonderfull! Apart from the regular idea, this is rather original.

I'm looking for the dance company who had the Arabian dancer carried on stage in a cage.

I believe the company you're looking for is the Pacific Northwest Ballet.

What is ′shemyakin′?
@almazdionysus8 жыл бұрын
+高橋梅子 He is the choreographer of this particular version of the Nutcracker.

+ziazarema Thanks for answer! and Why Nutcracker of this version has been created...? I don't understand :(
@almazdionysus8 жыл бұрын
I suppose because they wanted to try something new and more modern :)
@ollie78758 жыл бұрын
+ziazarema Mikhail Shemyakin is an artist, not a choreographer! He was an artistic director of the new Nutcracker, and worked on decorations, costumes etc but he doesn't have anything to do with the ballet's choreography.

Ha-ha, love your comment, the snake on the left had to be pushed down back in the basket, enjoying the other snake performance too much I guess, just like I did...

I wish they didn't bother with the crappy comedy snakes to the left and right....we know she is a snake already...they do not serve any purpose and are just a distraction

Quite agree. The most beautiful choreo of this dance ...And those puppets trying to get in the way and attempting to spoil it all. I'm lucky to have my eyes trained to enjoy this grand choreo and perfect Kondaurova!!!!

I liked her as Giselle. Her innocence was believable. Other ballerinas I've seen in Giselle lacked that. Giselle can't be a woman of the world or overtly sexy. Don't understand the hate.

Alina was gorgeous as a student and she is gorgeous as a principal. No matter what she does she is beautiful! Although her technique isn't perfect and some things may be weak compared to other ballerinas, there is something very special about her that makes her stand out from the rest. And that's what a principal ballerina should be. -3

I can't help but note how quietly she lands even those BIG jumps...and on a wood floor no less! Wonderful
