It took me a month to take down the locs and do two strand twist just as I was taking them down. I was going to work that's why it too that long. So you can do it! I can send you pictures.

I understand that the hair still looks good but I don't think anybody has a right to combine your locs without checking what you lime first. I had to comb out my locs because it was combined without my permission and this makes it gather lint. And yes! They combined them to save time. It's so unfair.

I feel bad for you, that wasn’t a good reason to combine your locs. Please listen to your mom, don’t chop it off. During the take down just wear wigs cause the process takes a bit of time, even though it maybe long and tedious but in the long run, you will achieve your desired look. I am presently taking down my microlocs, it was done by my sister who is not a loctician and some of my hair is bigger than some, plus I had a couple other issues. I plan get a redo by a professional once I am done. The trainee should be made aware that what she did was messy, who wants to go around with hair as is plus with the problems you will face if you don’t sort them out. God forbid she mess up someone else’s hair. She definitely needs to redo her training… smh… you’re beautiful. God bless, all the best to you.

I’ve been dealing with depression for a while now, just recently came off my meds bc I felt they weren’t helping me anymore. My boyfriend lives in charlotte and every time I go to visit I end up dreading coming back to Nashville. I hate it here 🙄. I also currently live with my mother, I just turned 27 and I’m ready to go! I’m currently in school and just accepted a new job to start making money again but I plan on leaving the beginning of next year. I’ve grown so tired of living in Nashville that I literally feel sick every day I’m here. I need a breath of fresh air and a new environment to start actually living my life.

Locs aren’t for everyone and sometimes you have to experience that to figure it out. I dont have time or interest to examine every loc on my head. All my locs don’t look the same, didn’t form the same, don’t feel the same. Yet, my hair is beautiful and I’m constantly complimented and being asked questions about my locs. Until I was completely comfortable and confident, I worried about my locs not being perfect all around IN MY OPINION. Now I appreciate my gorgeous head of hair and am grateful for what I have.

My loctitian asked what your decision was . I’m glad that you did what’s best for you.. We all know what it is to have to cut our hair out need vs choice. And all the emotions we have from our hair and how pretty or confident or not we feel. The braids are beautiful! Don’t give up on locs but do take your time

This happened to me too, I suffered for two years and then I just ended up cutting all my hair off and starting over with something I was happy with. Good luck on your journey. I pray everything goes well during your journey. But good luck hearing from sisterlocks corporation. I reported a sisterlock trainee who messed my locs & also cut ✂️ my loc. I didn't notice til I went to another sisterlock consultant. Sisterlock Corporation didn't respond to any of my emails. What I did notice she's no longer on the approval lists. So that's a good thing.

Your hair looks beautiful! Now my recommendation to; 1. Pray 2. Breathe/relax 3. Change your attitude about your hair 'EXPERIENCE' 4. Watch your behavior when it comes to your hair 5. Change your conversation about your hair...Talk to your hair expressing self neglect and future improvement 6. Express love to your hair from this moment forward 7. Take full responsibility for improving your hair with your hands 8. Change, change, change and I repeat change, hence the reason the 'HOLY SPIRIT' had you to relocate 😅 for you to change. 9.
