Filming Florida

Filming Florida is my three year journey to tell the story of the natural landscape and biodiversity of my home state. It is a narrative of Florida's wildlife and beauty interwoven with my story of discovery and filmmaking. The primary story depicts one of the country's most diverse states-its wildlife, landscape, and natural history; the second story chronicles my journey and the creative process of capturing the landscape and its wildlife. Using cutting edge technology, I will bring my journey and experiences to life through a production blog, weekly filmmaking web series, and natural history short films. The project will culminate with the release of a feature length natural history documentary, a large format photographic book, and a multimedia exhibition. This is an unconventional and unique project, and it is my hope that you will join me on this journey as I dedicate the next three years of my life to exploration and storytelling.
