Hi you had a video posted of Prove it all Night from September 19th 1978 and it got take down any chance you know where I could find it
@juanitodh65383 жыл бұрын
where's Part 2???
@486DX403 жыл бұрын
It got taken down a while back because of a BS copyright claim (not by Bruce, but a music publisher for a song that wasn’t even in the set list or written by Bruce). Also had a video of Prove it All Night that was up for 10 years and had 250k views and was just taken down at request of Bill Graham (the promoter of the show). So stupid. Bruce doesn’t give a shit about this why should other people.

Best version of this concert around. It's a shame part 2 has been blocked.
@486DX404 жыл бұрын
Vedder 1992 Yes youtube pulled it a while back because of a content match on one cover song that wasn’t even in the set list. Not sure why...
@Vedder19924 жыл бұрын
@@486DX40 Yeah, disappointing. Yet there's 3 cover version in the first part and there is a full version of the concert elsewhere on youtube with all the cover versions but not in as good quality as your version.

@486DX404 жыл бұрын
Rava Bakou Officiel I had it up but KZfaq removed it because of some BS copyright request on one of the cover songs Bruce played in the Detroit Medley I think.

Caught him at the Music Hall in Boston on this tour. I believed he opened with Badlands. Unforgettable four hours of rock-n-roll magic.

Love old Bruce taking the time to solo. Adds so much to the songs. Also great not to have all the schtick about rock n' roll saving your life and Bruce as religious preacher. I prefer the ragged Bruce that was more focused on the songs and playing for flat out broke. Phenomenal concert, and the black & white adds to the grit.

Absolutely amazing. I was only 6 in '76 so I had no shot of being there but this is a dream concert. We need places like the Capitol back again! These types of shows were life-changing events.

You said it! i was also a kid in the 70's and can only imagine what this was like! Luckily i know a few people who were at his Capitol Theater shows that week in '78 - it was as amazing as it seems here

In reality Bruce is a jerk , he won't give an autograph to a guy but at the same time only gives one to a girl ! he is not true to his phony lyrics and music, it's all bs, but the sheeple are blind.

The best shows of Bruce Springsteen live carreer are those from his first years, till 1985 Born in the USA Tour. Thismis one of the greatest. His strenght in some songs (Jungleland, Prove It All Night, Because the night...) makes me feel, like Jon Landau did, that I'm hearing music for the first time. And I think, everybody who loves Bruce is missing Clarence. So great and so big!

I had seen the bootleg video of this concert before the first night (09/19/1978) was available. The band was much more loose (and sloppy) on the second night, but I am sure that they were exhausted from being on the radio in an epic concert.

i saw so many great shows in that little shithole theater as a teenager growing up in jersey: j. geils band, ELP, george thorogood, chuck berry, etc. little did i understand at the time that seeing your favorite acts in a small intimate setting like this was a treat that would soon give way to cost prohibitive, overly produced stadium and major venue shows where you could never be so close to the performer or really feel the vibe like we did back then. man i miss that place\!

you are are an idot if you didn'tknow bruce in 78..hell, he was on the cover of time/newsweek in 76 after born to run. moron

Michael Polvino what the hell is an 'IDOT" genius? and who said i didn't know Bruce in '78? my comment was specifically about the capital theater and made no mention of him one way or the other. and where do you get off calling people names who you never met or spoke to? you gotta be kidding me! you hav no idea how old i was in '78 anyhow so you have no basis for even making that comment. i'm thinking that my golden retriever could run intellectual circles around you paisano.
@twcpu236910 жыл бұрын
Michael Polvino Even after Born to Run, Bruce still wasn't really popular outside the east or west coast. I was a freshman in college when Born to Run was released, and although I was from New Jersey and had seen Bruce before he even had a record out in 1971, when I attended Iowa State in 1975-79 Bruce wasn't on the radio over there at all. All they had was Kansas and Boston. My girlfriend from Iowa had no idea who Bruce was until a little while later.

Just after the 16-minute mark, you can hear him saying "We got something from Neptune here." That something was a drawing by my brother, who had the foresight to mention our hometown -- Neptune, NJ -- below his signature. It was our first Bruce show.

Thanks bossfan081 for posting this! This was one of my earliest bruce shows after the Garden in August and the Palladium earlier in the week. This show was a great memory and didn't know it was recorded...altho I do recall a small, poor quality B&W video screen alongside the stage. I was in the 3rd row and now looking to see if I can spot myself. Awesome!
