On their podcast, the guys said that Green Man is based on a friend they had/have. He was some type of successful doctor or something and when they went to games he would put on the green man suit and get toasty toasted 😂

So I'm watching Carol drive a pick axe through her husband's head and I'm feeling for Carol and what it all means to her but you guys are laughing... then I'm feeling emotional watching Andrea's attempt to tell her sister her last words and you guys are saying how fake it is.... it's like you two are in competition to see who can poke the most holes in the show. You two seem fun but I feel very disconnected in my experience with you guys in this particular show.

Honestly, that's pretty fair criticism. Appreciate you for sharing that with us! We like to have fun when we're watching, and it can definitely rub some people the wrong way. We explore it a little bit in our conversations throughout the series -- some of it is defence mechanisms to protect ourselves or lessen the heaviness. But I get wanting people to appreciate the art of it all. Hopefully you continue to give us a chance -- but if not, thanks for watching with us up to this point!

@@PhilipManzano Oh I'm still watching, it was great seeing you guys tear up when Lori first seen Carl shot. I had a feeling the more you guys watched the more you would feel the characters. :)

@8:12 I understand your point for John, the Baptist and Jesus and how their relationship was growing up. But the best thing I heard from pastor Stephanie Ike on KZfaq was she said that during this time before Jesus's ministry , he was spiritually hidden. So yes they grew up together but his anointing and his spiritual veil was lifted when It was time for his ministry at the age of 30. It's possible John. The Baptist always knew who Jesus was, but it's also possible that he didn't know until it was spiritually revealed to him when Jesus was 30 (aka: on whom the dove sits upon 🕊️", before his baptism) he was revealed in the spirit and that's how John knew

The McPoyle with the lighter hair is a very good actor. He was in Westworld playing the complete opposite (upstanding and well put together) type of character and pulled it off very convincingly.

The Donovan McNabb joke kinda requires you to both know who Donovan McNabb is but also know of Alvin from the Cosby Show. If you know both of those people it's like a top-tier joke, imo.

You’ve never tailgated like at concert?! It’s SO much fun. People hanging out, having drinks, playing different games, meeting and hanging out with random people. Good times. Not sure if they still do it. Things might have changed. I haven’t been to a concert in a couple years.

God was not limited by Paul's lack of faith. When God decides He will overcome someone's resistance to Him, He will, He does. If He didn't, if He really was limited by our lack of faith, none of us would be saved.

I feel like Shane had very valid points but he’s only about himself. Rick is about the group. As Shane mentioned to Lori, his priority was keeping her and Carl safe. If it had been Carl vs Sofia he would more than likely be on the bandwagon to keep looking or have done more from jump to even prevent the entire situation. Blaming Dale for Andrea’s behavior is hilarious. 🤣🤣🤣 Her character annoys me so much. He should have left her!

If you guys want a suggestion of a story to react to, I suggest Attack on Titan. It might be a little weird if you have never watched anime, but I assure you it is worth the ride. I can guarantee both of you will get really emotional over the course of the show.

Maggie was upset for a couple of reasons. First, because Lori was sending them off to fetch things. Second, because she likely was never exposed to actually being in danger. It was a scare. Then to see Glenn in trouble, she's starting to have feeling for him. That was quite the adrenaline rush.
@dravenquinn264Күн бұрын
Something I love about Carl is how mature he is when he needs to take responsibility He didn’t make excuses for stealing a gun apologized and agreed to Lori’s conditions. The acting between Andrew Lincoln (Rick) And Sarah Wayne Callies (Lori) At the end of the episode is phenomenal I think that scene is probably my favourite in the episode just based on the amazing acting. I get why Maggie was pissed but this situation was a bit different because Glenn specifically offered and Lori asked if he was still up for it It was a lot different than the well situation I think with the well Glenn did feel used but not when Lori asked because she fully gave him the option to turn her down and he’s the one who originally offered Plus that time it was for someone he cares about and is worried about so I give that one a pass at least. Man I love your discussions They’re so well thought out and you give consideration to every character Your opinions fluctuate and you guys seem very understanding of what’s going on with the characters and their behaviour instead of always reacting emotionally I really love hearing your thoughts with that in mind.

Dale questioning Shane about Otis and standing up to him even with Shane’s crazy look is one of my favourite parts of the episode Also I loved how Dale didn’t mention that Glenn told him about the barn or Lori pregnancy.
