Uhmmm I'm South African, and this sounds NOTHING like us. Just like two poms trying too hard to sound South African that its cringeworthy. It would've been funny had they actually got South Africans, its not like there's a lack of us in the UK!

I think I've met maybe two vegetarians in my time here... I dont see why it would be frowned upon though. Guess braaivleis/meat is just part of it and people go heh? if you dont braai with them.

As a vegetarian in South Africa, I can just say that it's certainly frowned upon in most places.. On most menus "Vegetarian" = "Spinach and Feta". Eish :)

While SA has high quality beef, this just seems random. The Vegetarian market there is quite large. Much larger than what I've seen in Europe for example.

Despite the denials about the accents, I've actually heard white South Africans who over-Anglicize their inflections who DO sound like these two, a sort of cross between 1940s film English and Australian English. Good work, funny, and spot on spoof of a sense of entitlement ... More more more!

This is a bad SA accent and it is not afrikaans. Afrikaans is not english, it is germanic. there is a difference between a South African english accent and an afrikaans person speaking english....since english and afrikaans are two different offical south african languages. Their intonation is out.Besides the they are taking Little Britain's humor. very very very few actors can do SA accents.
