Also, due to the Nazi swastika becoming offensive. Nintendo released a game called "The Legend of Zelda". In the 3rd level, it's called "The Manji" which is named after the Buddhist swastika. Of course, people easily mistook it for the Nazi swastika, especially the Jewish community which caused controversy. Unlike most censorship changes, Nintendo never changed the map, whatsoever.

Very true because the nazis symbol was taken from the holy places of India and turned into Nazis sign which is offensive to Hindus I learned it from a video also used around the continent of Asia e.g. Buddhist and etc :)

Currently I am studying Swedish by translating song lyrics Song lyrics are usually very easy to understand and translate and also easy to find on the internet. I listen to the song while reading the lyrics. I learn pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, all at the same time. It is fun, easy, addictive and extremely efficient. I use Google Translate and online dictionaries. I haven't bought any books and don't attend schools. I only study one hour every day. I never study more than an hour because I have other things to do and Swedish for me is just a hobby. But I never get bored, one hour of study flies by in an instant, I always want to study more.

Great video. As a native German, I must say I'm very much impressed with how good you are after only three months. It's good enough to be comprehensible - which is awesome - though your weakest link is definitely pronunciation at this point. If you're keen on improving further, I advice putting more effort into imitating the sounds we make. It will go a long way to make you truly sound like a native. Outside of that, this video is a great motivator. I am in the process of studying Japanese since the middle of May (no classes, no textbooks, mostly Anki and immersion as most modern methods advise) and it sure feels like navigating through a thick forest, as you described. But there's no getting through without putting in the required effort, and there's no time to put the effort in like the present, so I will keep at it. Your style is awesome. Liked and subscribed, I very much look forward to seeing more of you!

@billclockwell
@billclockwell Ай бұрын
@@lewakar the Buddhist and Hindu symbols are essentially the same, the symbol is not called a swastika in german, not sure why it is in English, in German it is the hakenkreuz or hooked cross, it was meant to be a variation on the typical cross ✝️ but centred and extended parallel to the current branches, I believe this was to tie themselves to an ancient group because the symbol was found in an archeology cite, I'm not sure if that symbol was supposed to be a hooked version of a cross or something else but that is what it was interpreted as at the time
