Hi Dave I replaced my old screen with the newer SW900 it has one wire with a larger connection and a smaller wire with a tiny connection to it the problem is my old screen only has one one connection , so I have a connection wire not connected to anything , any idea what I can do ? The screen lights up it’s connected but no watts , no mph , and the pas works ,however it’s crazy fast …Mike ..

Okay Dave, I see now that you did add this front wheel motor kit and you have also located the inside disc pad adjustment knob. That is crazy that they would ship a bike with a wheel that far out of true! I’m kind of wondering now if the front rotor is warped or bent. I feel like I’m hearing the the brake rub at certain parts of the wheel rotation, but not constantly? I hope that you can get it figured out!

Hello David! I came over here from the Electrified Latina channel to check out your bike and videos. It looks like a really nice bike! Did you add the motor to this bike? I hope that you can get your front brake figured out. I have mechanical disc brakes on one of my bikes. The cable and barrel adjusters on mine only operate the outside brake pad and the inside brake pad beside the front hub is stationary, but on mine can be adjusted towards the disc or away from the disc by a twist knob on the caliper. You might see if your set up has that adjustment to back it off the disc a bit to eliminate contact and then adjust your cable and barrel adjusters to dial in your brakes. I’m glad that you are getting some nice weather and getting back out on the road to enjoy your bike! Thanks for the ride!

What do I look for on Amazon when purchasing an extra long stem

The SW900 can take 1000 watts and much more. They have been used on e bikes with silly power. So you likely just had a bad controller (this can happen with any electronics . at least with any I ever broke :) )Or maybe one of the settings in your SW900 was somehow off. Maybe max amperage or number of magnets etc. Another possibility is the battery's internal settings of how much current van be used at once. What Im saying is that the blue limit wire wasnt your issue and there is a good chance that you can try 1000 qatts again without any issues. Ive got two voilamart equipped bikes. an earlier front 1000 watt motor (which didnt come with a display and a bewer rear wheel drive 1000 watt kit with the SW 900. Both do fine without connecting the 750 watt limiting wires.. PS there are a ton of SW900 videos on You Tube that can show you how to get to the settings and what each setting does. Happy biking man

Please be aware that just because the plugs on the sensors are the same type that doesn't mean the wiring is the same, this is also the case with throttles wires as well.

I love it. I bought the same kit for my bike but with a 48v 30ah battery and ride it as my daily. I plan to build another ebike for Off-road use instead of for urban/city. My front suspension is a bit short but i always enjoy riding my Build. The PAS Sensor, i have found be dangerous because i just goes to full throttle when pedaling slow and has a few seconds of a delay till cutoff. But i kept the sensor in place just left it unplugged for when i upgrade controller.

what is the name of the upgrade so I can order it off Amazon?

Just want to add there is NO numbered pedal assit with this kit. You get a good boast of power when you pedal. Wish I monitor the power output. Maybe an upgraded screen is next.
