I bought my LEAK Sandwich Speakers in 1968, and they are still my go-to speakers in 2021. I have Martin Logans, Klipsch, Polk, Energy, Sound Dynamics, Sony, Technic, Bose, Cambridge, ELAC, etc etc etc, but nothing pleases like my "ancient" classic, vintage LEAKs. They deliver an amazing sound stage, great bass you can feel at 30 Hz, and at 15 ohms I can drive them to ear splitting dynamic clear, pricise, accurate sound that is never tiring. Warfedale bought them out years ago and borrowed some of their positive engineering that they still use today.

wow this is a great deck enjoy it I was wondering if you could give me an idea about an issue i am having with my teac a-1200-u after a few minutes the brake and pinch roller solenoid get very hot and i can feel the heat coming from the faceplate of the deck and then it stops and the play button pops out i had used a meter to check the voltage to the solenoids and it was 120.1 volts dc and I was told that the voltage should be between 40 and 60 volts dc can you tell me what the issue can be and where and what needs to be done I know how to fix mechanical and some electronic stuff but just need to be pointed to the right place thank you for your time and keep the great videos coming

These are very sensitive to the amp there used with in needs a input impedance of 100k ohms which is standard on tube amps and of course it sounds like my cell phone

I have a pair of these speakers (rescued at a dump), great mid definition and loud, 5 actual watts would make these scream, getting them up to their limit (10) would be more then loud enough for supplemental speakers at a large house party
