Love how proud Cory is to show off his 3rd world country national championship jersey - even though it is the only day of the year he ever goes there - LOL

how about how cool you feel for trolling a guy you don’t know nor can beat, in the comments of a video of one of his teammates?

@@StachePower If the truth hurts you, I apologize, if Conner wishes to race for him - that's his decision

@@gmen1305 the truth that Cory's proud of what he represents and you're a troll? doesn't hurt me at all. and I'm sure Connor has no problems with any of it given that he's living off riding his bike which you're probably not

@@StachePower Happy to hear that Cory is proud to represent the fact that he flew down to a 3rd world country with a bicycle that costs more than most there make all year & take away their national championship jersey from them and bring it back to the states - because he's not capable of doing the same here in the US....

How is he taking away “their” national championship?

Very nice racing footage! Impressive speeds. I kept converting to mph. If I remember correctly you hit around 40 mph-assuming you were on a downhill slope and pedaling hard? Still to me, a hybrid cyclist, that seems incredibly fast. I hit close the 20 mph once on a moderate downhill road and that felt like I was flying maybe even a little “scary.” The roads in Bermuda looked like they were in pretty good condition. Such a gorgeous place, especially if you’re wealthy.

Man, some of those symmetric shots are Wes Anderson worthy! :) Didn't look that rough on the South Shore, but that was up near Dockyard still... beautiful shots!

1:14:30 - in front camera, upper right corner - "typical" move by it looks like Justin Williams in the yellow jersey, after deliberately looking at him, to chop off the guy and push him to the curb that was coming up on his right to keep him from moving up

The way Cory used Cormac to box-in Chris while he himself wound-up out of the corner was masterful, you can literally see Cory double down on the power as soon as he clears Cormac, this makes it almost impossible for Chris to makeup the difference at that point even if he had fresher legs. So cool to watch. Thanks Conor!

Cycling is a team sport, especially at the higher levels. Connor`s role in the race is likely to keep the overall speed high to deter attacks, to cover attacks from other teams, and to make sure that the sprinter on his team has good positioning going into the final 2 turns of the race. The legion rider (in black) pulls off with 4 turns to go, Connor pulls off with 2 turns to go, likely there is another rider who pulls into the final turn, and the sprinter makes the final dash for the line. Although Connor is pushing crazy watts the whole race ~400w with 1300w sprints, he gathers the fatigue in the front while his team keeps the sprinter out of the wind saving their energy for the final dash. the top sprinters can do 1600w-1800w so even being able to do 1300 may not be enough to get the victory in a top level race.

If you pause at 1:01:44, when Conor is in the pit for a mechanical, you see a trio of riders pass. They stayed away until the last lap when Eddy Huntsman attacked the break and held the field off for the win.
