I was about 8 years old when I heard this song, I was so sad for him. So many different stories has been put out about the story behind this song. It was possibly 3-5 years ago on Media said the girl he was singing about was still alive, I don't know whether she was in a nursing home or what....but I could have told her a thing or two.🤨😭💟❣💔❣🥀🌹💐

I'm certainly not leaning too far out of the Window when I say that Dean Martin next to Sammy Davis jr. was the greatest Showmaster of the Century.

I knew about this since elementary or middle when our teacher put on this movie for the class to watch, I also seen it air on TV like 15+ years ago. Always liked the movie. Couple years ago, I was working on a house with my uncle and there were these nice white people koving out, a man had passed away, his wife didn’t want to stay there anymore, their kids grown up and it’s sad to see memories laying around the house, when I went into the attic, I seen many stuff, not a lot, just things they couldn’t bring, I didn’t wNt to throw them away so I just left it there. I took some dominoes and his playing cards from Las Vegas and I still be shuffling those cars every now and then . His wife name is Donna so I left the music playing in the house to kind of honor their love together. Their family name was kind of scribbled around more than a couple of times and I kept seeing his name and his wife’s name. I think I replayed it a couple of times for them. I like the song for different reasons. It was kind of nice to play it for him and a woman named Donna. Besides that I fell through the attic we was fixing xD my uncle was mad lol.

My name is Donna, and I used to be really tired of this song, because people would always sing it to me, but on the way home from work today my Uber driver had an oldies station on, and I heard the entire thing... I don't mind it much now!
