I didn't like it, either. I have this mic, so I gave it a shot and it sounds as good as the SM7B. I use the RODE NYG5 boom mic for streaming, but the SM58 is great! Right now it's $89 on shure.

This interview makes me so happy; I’m such a fanatic or nerd or addict or whatever you want to say about rocking shows; when it comes to what 1AM’s advice on preparation before a show, to having your own mic (which I preach like the gospel to everyone but still seeing everyone use the same mic), and the cuffing the mic conversation; never cuff the mic ! One love ❤

I think your voice sounds better with the Lauten Audio LS-208. The sm7b makes it sound like its behind a curtain or something like that.

I use SM58s for my podcast since they are more portable and affordable than the SM7b, 🙃 Shure mics are a solid choice

Yes more of this😊 I love the part about how staying rooted is important. To touch on that I was in Utah and Arizona late last month on a road trip we visited a lot of native monumental parks and open spaces and landmarks and the name Navajo was huge out there.
