I have a question, i have considered for a long time that when i am in a position to own a horse id want to be trained so i could farrier my own horse. Ive always loved the idea of working with metal and horses have always been my passion. How would i go about finding training for this. In the same vein I'd like to have moderate education on horse health so id know how to keep their health at its best and know when to call a professional

Hey bud thanks for the comment, I wear them for several reasons, they protect my hands from cuts from my sharp tools - my knives , rasps , nails etc as well as protecting my hands from the sharp pieces of hoof while I work. Should the horse move while im working I haven’t got to worry about getting my hands caught on anything sharp allowing me to hold onto the foot better, you may have noticed that this foot isn’t muddy, I do have other gloves for working in fields when needed but in this case these gloves are not to prevent dirt 🙂

😂 let’s be honest - a horse this size (19.1hh) if it misbehaves I’m being thrown into the next county 😂 luckily this lads a gentle giant and stands very well for me
