Please, his diet is atrocious. He needs pelleted food, fresh veggies and fruiet, and seeds and nuts only as training treat. His feathers show very poor health, and you are seriously shortening his life! Bring him immediately to an avian vet and have him checked. I would be surprised if the poor bird doesn't have devastating fatty liver disease and possibly terminal liver disease! No amazon parrot should have a bowl of sunflower seeds.... or any seed/nut mixture as their main food.

Please stop feeding him too much of sun flower seeds. He will faced with heath issues sometime not very far. The very first thing he'll develop is fatty liver which eventually will kill him. Do not feed him too much dried fruits either which are consetrated with sugar and usually have added sugar. More healthy dieds like grains, vegetables some fresh fruits is better. You can give him seeds for treat. The other thing which you might reconsider is the wood stand. It has to be made of wood so she can chew on.

Good for you. Sometimes it takes weening them to a new food. The one my bird likes best is RoudyBush pellets. I can not get her to eat Bird Tricks food. My breeder said d his birds don’t like it either. They recommend theirs because RoudyBush has a few different ingredients one seems to be corn. its a little higher in fat content that seems to be just fine and my vet says its wonder pellets and just warns against the fruit colored kind.

Is it good to use it on my laceless fabric gray shoes on a specific spot that is slightly above the shoes insole or not ? Also do i have to use dawn dish soap or any soap will do the job ? And the hydrogen peroxide has to be in a certain concentration or anything concentration will be good ?

Yellow Napes are great parrots. I have one and he is about 42 yrs old, I am his second Daddy. A little advice that I had found out recently, unfortunately, cut back on the seed you are giving your bird. Mine started having seizures one weekend and I took him to a vet where I found out he had blocked blood vessels and some of the plax had broken off and had gone to his brain. I am now feeding him a strictly ZuPreem pellet diet, a mixture of the fruit blend (3.5 lb), nut blend (3.5 lb) and pure fun (2 lb). You can give seed as a treat but cut back on the sunflower seed. My little buddy is doing great now but it was a real scare for me because I love him so much. I hope your Lala has a long life.
