As soon as I made this mindset shift, my content did a 180° flip. 😅 Lol this was my evolution: I went from wanting so bably to be an influencer, then wanting to be a ugc creator, and now I just want to sell my own digital products and be my own business. If I'm gonna put in all this work for other brands, then why not for myslef? Eff being at the mercy of brands and what they want. What do I want? ❤ However, you kind of lost me at Elon Musk.🥴 He didn't make Twitter (X). He bought it. 😅 That just wasn't the best example of a good business owner, in my opinion. And Elon Musk had plenty of time on his hands to Tweet and ruin Twitter and still does. 😅 That's my opinion on that bit.

I recently opened my counselling practice and I asked God to help me with marketing, in fact God was clear that I can not hide who I am. I'm also Adventist by the way. I practice as a wellness counsellor and what that means is that I can practice in my faith so part of my services is spiritual growth counselling. Everything I put out I am very clear. Tithe is also extremely important. God is so faithful I have testimonies just on tithing, how God will increase what little you have. God First I say!

This was a helpful video! Because of all the content I consume, my brain immediately went to "Video content is absolutely the future" But, the more time I spend online and realize different people consume different kinds of content, I see the value in creating all the other kinds of content as well!

Doing guitar lessons, podcasts and blogs seem to take a backseat to youtube, where the lessons can be more visual. It's interesting email is #1 but of course to email anyone, you've got to get people's emails and build a list. There's so much to that ... lead magnets with landing pages, email marketing site (I use as many free resources as I can), then you've got to comply with COPA and GDPR (so many people aren't explaining these things - like privacy policies, terms of service, disclaimers, cookie banners). But free content definitely drives paid content. Just takes so long to get going. It's definitely a long game, providing a lot of value of front, planting seeds. And I agree, social media isn't where it's at. I think the key to social media is already having built up those accounts as personal accounts and then when you use them for business you already have a significant base of people you're interacting with, but otherwise, social -- like you said -- gets buried quick.
