The fact that you dont need any special tools to tear these engines completely down is mind blowing!!! Im definitely going to start workin on skis instead of dirtbikes/ quads😂 Definitely seems less stressfull.

I have a stock 1998 JS550 that starts right up when cold but dies after 15 minutes of riding. Then just cranks over, but won’t start until you let it sit 15 minutes. Rebuilding stock carb didn’t change anything. Planning to do a compression test & check fuel lines tomorrow. Any suggestions?? Thank you!

What did you cut the center boards between the bunks at? That looks to be the perfect width.

Cool Video and Good find -- your 70 even has the spark plug tool on the back under the grab handle ! I have had many 70s but only got one that still had the original spark plug socket tool - they usually missing. Hope You get it going again 😊

WOW dude, you have a long way to go and a short time to get there.. just keep us posted on how many more scooters you are going to grenade.. I'm highly unimpressed.. you should have torn into the transmission housing WAY WAY before you even put power to that starter.. so, um.. uhh.. umm, yeah.. you are a danger to scooters all around the globe and you need to put down the screwdriver and walk away slowly.. please!!

I’m not sure if you check your old videos, but what would you guess one of these motors weigh intact with the pump? I’m considering buying a bombardier to repower a different toy and can’t find a weight listing anywhere.

Turned out sweet. It must have been tough to ride with backwards steering. It would be interesting to know if it's very good to ride just ripping around not trying to jump. Looking forward to seeing another video.

So uh yeah, I'd like to see, uh yeah, a part 2 also. So yeah, I'd like to see how it came out. And yeah, in a 17 minute video you, uh yeah, said "yeah" in some form 21 times. Not counting the two times you used it properly in a sentence. So yeah, I just thought I'd point it out so you'd realize how often you use it. So uh, yeah.

That’s not a west coast motor lol. West coast manufactured a motor, they coast around 4-5k if you can find one. Head, cylinder, and the way to the flywheel.
