We can only hope but regardless, I am done with gacha so I would prefer if they release something similar to the original Dissidia or Duodecim from the PSP

I had to do it since with what weapons, level, Materia we have at our disposal in the demo, its not enough to 1 cycle the boss in 1 stagger phase, so I only took around 40% of the boss's hp during 1st stagger phase as its Flames of Rebirth activates when it reaches around 50% hp then finish it at the 2nd stagger phase Yeah, seems like ga spells are 2atb, unless we get something in the main game of Rebirth to lower its atb costs

I think SE intends Aerith to just stay inside her wards during fights, which I can see why since it powers up her attacks if she is inside Radiant Ward. If ever she gets knocked back out of her wards, she can warp to it anytime she wants

@@DaniCruzDFFOO I don’t know if it’s the best strategy but I try to put wards in different positions on the map. This way I can perform better attacks and double magic while evading enemies. Her synergy blocks also come in hand as a last resource.

@@silloe.ssantos Thats a good plan too, if its getting cramped in one spot, you can just warp to the other ward

Phoenix casts its Flames of Rebirth when its hp reaches around 50%, with what limited weapons/materia we have in the demo atm, Aerith can't burst it down in 1 stagger phase so I opted to lower its hp just about to 40% during 1st stagger phase, then finish the rest on the 2nd stagger phase, you can tank the Flames of Rebirth though when in full health but the animation is long

She is the de-facto mage in the team so I can give her spell materia to take advantage of her high magic damage output stats

Thanks! Indeed, before its not that much worth it to use the -ga spells during stagger phases of bosses as the long casting spell often gets outdamaged by casting just the regular basic spell multiple times, this is just this fight though, lets see if this will change when the main game comes out

What @sliphiroth said, the wards do expire after a certain time has elapsed, I refreshed it just to be sure it won't be gone during the crucial final stagger phase of the boss at the end

Me too, Aertih with Radiant Ward makes her go Super Saiyan with laser spams lol, that will be her first atb use in every battle I bring her

Lol, I do thank SE for letting players choose on how many characters we can bring in the combat simulator in Rebirth, no more need to turn the other 2 into helpless froggies xD

@@DaniCruzDFFOO I like that too because for some reason it just irked me when people called it a solo battle but it wasn't a solo battle... I don't know I'm just weird like that.. Because little do people know there are actually two things in the game known as enfeeblement rings... enter my understanding there are two of them... which will instantly turn your other characters into frogs.... But that wasn't for a solo run believe it or not they do have frog builds that aren't too shabby believe it or not... I'm turning your other teammates into frogs can actually throw in advance to your battle.. So in my eyes they're solo battle was not solo. Then you come along and truly show us a solo fight with my girl as I have been trying to learn a great build set for her because I know she's OP... I always enjoyed using her but I was never able to use her to her fullest extent. Watching a complete solo battle with her definitely helps

@@chuckrichardson83 Eh, you're sweating insignificant details too much IMO. 2 frog NPCs have a completely negligible effect on a Top Secrets or a Weiss battle "solo" fight. Also, like Dani mentioned, it was the only way people could do "solo" fights in Remake. What did you want people to do, put "Aerith + 2 frogs Weiss battle" in the YT video title? :D

The frogs actually make weiss harder because in phase 1 they can knock him away from you >,<

There's someone on youtube that's put up a solo no damage run with Aerith for this boss. It's not all click bait out there lol

I think so, need to time it, you can also precision block an attack(its timing pressing block to an incoming attack) and it will negate the damage

No but certain characters have block built into their dodge. (It behaves like parry from remake.) Cloud when dodging out of punisher mode. Tifa when dodging at higher chi levels. Aerith when dodging within radiant ward. Red when dodging in vengeance mode. Barret... idk.

⁠@@IsraTheBlackparry material in remake is when characters could dodge but it would also work as a block and does a tiny bit of damage. Now that’s all built into every character, some requiring a bit more steps to do so

What new ability does she have in Rebirth that's not in remake? The only thing in the demo is radiant ward.

@@MelodyJD 25 is probably combine with synergy,and other combination attack, What i meant is ability that You get when obtaining a new weapon like remake.

Yeah, most VAs from Japan really impresses me as they can really change/adapt their tones well, even after decades has elapsed, they still sound like the same

Japanese seiyuus are on another level. And the thing is, you can recognize a handful of them on pretty much everything. It's just so good.

The tackle animation, that was her parry animation with parry materia in Remake. Now, parry is incorporated to every character, her parry animation(tackle) is only available when she is inside her Radiant Ward, it replaces her dodge animation

Now that you said it, I guess so, unless we see Ray of Judgement still in the main game of Rebirth and its been upgraded as well
