10:25 I noticed you re-shift clicked to reset the order of construction and add a dock. I am almost sure you don't need to to do that anymore. You could have just shift clicked the dock and it would add the building order to the previous queue.

I should learn how to play gods like Loki from you. These kinds of videos do help. I wanna get back to my competitive ways. I wanna relearn set, Loki, oranos. I love the other gods already. But those 3 feel like the most fun from gameplay perspective. At least from first glance. I know they may not be the best gods. But it’s not so much the god as it is the player.

Losing water is definitely not good! But Hades wins hard late game, so there is always pressure on the Norse player to finish the game!

nice cast - interesting that opponent didnt try to dock your side and disrupt your fish eco that was kinda of free win for you - he overinvested to your dock and you just rushed his base wp

Hades TC doesn't have more HP now so it's not really as scary... just the sentinals to worry about!

The map here is Elysium, with a bunch of hunt and the gold mines in those little pools. Giza is the Mao that has the Settlements on greenery areas in the middle of the desert with those purely decorative pyramids throughout the map.

Hey suppe, awesome game, just wanted to ask if could you do a video showing us your hotkeys as I would like (and I think a lot of other people also) to improve for retold but I have troubles sometimes with my hotkeys. Thanks and can't wait for your retold content!

Yeah, I will do that :) That said, I have spoken to a few people who just use the default hotkeys and who are actually quite happy with them! the QWER "grid-system" works really well for Age of Mythology!

Aww, I was really looking forward to streaming that too, but my brand new PC had insane lag whenever I tried streaming. Really hope they fix for Retold release! So instead I recorded my games, and will upload game by game instead :)

Hi Suppe! What is your oppinion on Njord. Today I played Odin and Njord FH timing attack seems really strong. I think he is much stronger than Skadi and Bragi. Also, I think Norse are really bad right now against Greek myth unit spam. IDK how to deal with them.

dude, I only played vs greeks it felt like and I can't deal with MUs at all! Njord is really cool, but norse needs a good hero unit omfg :D

@@HUSKSUPPE yeah man Greeks feel really strong. I played with my friend who I beat all the time on Voobly, and he discovered that he can just spam Minotaurs and there is nothing i can do about it and he just beats me. I think pros still have to discover how Greek classical age myth unit spam is strong against Norse.

Dear suppe, I quit league a few months ago (because of rootkit anticheat system/chinese malware etc) I've been playing AOM since again, and I'm around 1950 elo in EE on steam. The question: I only play Thor because I wanted to get really good at one god. Ever since I hit around 1950ish elo, I keep facing Zeus players that just rush pegasus. I try to micro as best as I can but my throwing axemen just will switch to targeting pegasus immediately all the time. I have no idea what to do against it, and it's the most annoying strategy ever. Hill forts and turrets do the same! I try to micro them by assigning them to a group but if I leave them unattended one second, they become pointless. TA with the anti flying myth unit upgrade don't kill the pegasus fast enough either, and if I spam RC or anything else I get overrun by hoplites. Do you know what to do in these situations? I'm so frustrated, I've lost like 7 games in a row against the same move. It feels incredibly dumb and unfair :( EDIT: I searched the web for answers before commenting here but found nothing :(

This sounds so annoying!! 😔 Ulfsarks and TA maybe the way to go. And try to micro the TA as best you can. When you get heroic you can get frost Giants too which are really good vs Greeks. But yeah, this sounds so annoying to play against, I get if you are frustrated!

I just tested your strategy really good agaisnt 1600 players I have won all fights, but agaisnt 1900 players I have lost to Egypthician, Ra and Isis are really good on defense.

but u cant beat titan ai with this strategy.Maybe u can win against gaia but idk u have to rush when u play against titan ai. Can u upload ur recorded game on youtube so we can watch how did u manage weird eco thingy :D cuz u know titan ai gettin 2x resources unf.

@LaughingCoffin-ub3oo I won around the 8 minute mark. as soon as I advanced I kept attacking its villagers (the ai is stupid and lets you butcher them), and soon it had no economy at all and couldn't create any more soldiers to defend itself
