That's how it is. I got it from www.myabandonware.com/game/outrun-2006-coast-2-coast-cc3 The set up for the game allows you to only change the resolution. But I am not sure about the hack that comes with the game that allows you to do stuff like set a frame rate limit is also able to adjust the aspect ratio. I'm sure it's not gonna look good on bigger aspect ratios and I'm not gonna mess with that

I think they are that way so that you don't assume your car is glued to the road all the time. Like in this silence recreation, you boost off the final curve, you fall
