W.C.S realism Nato/Rus servers

I'm gonna try more dark gru but the map on their mod sucks 😢 I pulled one out and got a couple clips earlier, text video will definitely have sniping!

Gunplay of Squad is worse from a shooter perspective but better from a realism perspective.

It's honestly is really strange, it's fun though thankfully. My framerate might make it look even worse than it usually is too

Yeah the gunplay could be better in ArmA, that's one of my largest gripes also

Definitely didn't just crash a heli full of my own players into the ground on one of those servers 😅

Thanks bro! It's definitely in a playable state right now, that's why I waited for so long honestly 😅 I'm excited to see all the mods start updating now that we're a bit out from the patch

I think that whole sequence sold me on the mod. It felt like being part of a movie

It's an Acer Nitro N50 ER12, I5-12400F, rtx3060, I upgraded from 16gb kingston to 32gb(2x16) crucial ddr4 3200. Squad is installed an ssd but I'm not too sure the specs on it. Grabbing a gen4 m.2 drive soon too

Both! There's a few weapons in vanilla squad that can adjust zoom I believe most of the aussie faction has them on their rifles!

Is suppressors only on the GS mod ? I know you can get one with the vss but that’s it in Vanilla

I can't remember the specific server but generally I just look for one thats half full if I'm playing during peak hours, off peak hours I look for whatever one has the least in queue. Sorry for not having more specifics

Have you ever held a machinegun before? Lol I use minimi at work and this is the closest to the intended use they've come for section/company level weapons. Clips are from the GE mod too so the weappn values are where the community wanted them. Go play valorant

@@Tassholio Its a video game. You upload clips that serve to demonstrate how far removed this game is from what it has been for the first 7 years. Bots fighting bots but at least they are immersed. You must have not played any V5 if you think it had anything in common with Valorant and just because some mod devs balanced something a certain way does not mean thats "what the community wants". Your comment is as ignorant as your gameplay is unskilled. Go shoot at that heli some more because it feels immersive. Or pistol a solo crewman digging a FOB with 0 cover. This game has degraded incredibly because of people like you. Immersion bots.

@@Tassholio he's just mad he cant play it like its battlefield anymore, you were doing what a machinegunner should do atleast in that scenario anyway imo, firing from a hill while friendlies move below you is great

@@Tassholio Factually you should have waited until the helo touched down instead of being busy reloading but the enemy did then drop a radio in the open field and proceeded to crawl around in it with 0 shots returned. To me this is a clip of how bad the game has become not a proud moment to showcase something positive. I understand that it feels immersive to new players and that you might have some sort of IRL insight but this is a video game and needs to behave as such. Not everything is either ICO or Valorant, what a silly thing to say. GE and MEE both dialed down ICO but unfortunately the SDK is heavily lacking when it comes to what can and can not be changed so no, this is not "what the community wants". Its making the best of a bad situation. Talk to the devs. You then show a clip of yourself on your own vs an enemy digging the FOB also on his own with zero cover. You feel great that you saved a radio but it still is a clip that showcases mistakes more than good plays. Also, that fight in the storage unit is just clunky weapon handling and spray and pray. In a FPS game fights should be more skill based than that. Immersion wears off. Skill builds over time. The game is in the worst state it has been in years.

Agreed, the mods along with squads updates have made the experience so immersive. 2024 is a good year for the game

@@Tassholio yea, its only holographic sights, irons and the occasional magnified scope for me, which is ok since i mostly play AT or rifleman

@@Tassholio i just bumped up my settings earlier and the fps impact doesnt seem to be all that horrible even when recording, binos are fine even lower settings though

Thanks a lot man! I'm using capcut for now, it's been so user friendly. All of my text for thumbnails and in the videos have been from it's presets, so definitely super easy to put on your own videos!

​@@Tassholio Im using premiere pro at the moment, I've only made a few videos with it so far but it seems like a less user friendly learning experience then capcut but an overall more in depth editing tool which makes sense for a paid tool i guess

bc unfortunately i am not abt to watch hella squad clips in 30fps

Everything from the last few vids onward is and will be 60fps, 30 gives me headaches so don't worry about seeing it again unless it's not fps content 😅 I have a 12gb 3060, I use shadowplay 60fps 2k upscale (current monitor is 1080) at 60,000bps. Waiting on payday for a couple things but I'll be getting a 2k monitor, nvme, another 16gigs of ram and a new mic soon. I'm going to go XLR eventually so I have an AT2005 on the way

if you ever need something just a tad bit less HUD, more immersion. that’s the one. arma 3 is a little too clunky , reforger is just right. just click a server and ur good.

100% I've definitely been looking at it and seriously considering getting it. I think now that some of the more frustrating bugs have been ironed out it could be a really good time to jump in

One of the best parts of the mod honestly. I think the dev(s) for global escalation got it from the steel division mod when it stopped getting worked on
