Iv never seen a 680 with a proper hard top iv seen other model with aftermarket top that look like crap. I can appreciate how hard it would have been to make that look like it was a factory top by far the best custom hard top iv ever seen. Usually stick out.like a sore thumb. Craftsmanship is 10/10 I actually work as a tool box fabricator so I know how hard it is to do and not to mention to do it out of a garage

Loving this build series guys. Interested to know how much weight this is adding to your tub. Did you do a weight comparison?
@thecapt77266 күн бұрын
We will do a weight comparison I dont think it will be a massive difference as the rocket launcher was stainless and quite heavy and the boat screen and frame was already 30% of what we are replacing
@thecapt77266 күн бұрын
Also aliminium weighs around 30% of stainless I can pick-up the frame and roof with one arm

Ps what sort of cost will be be completed

@JasonWalsh-vi7lt I'll let tje Capt answer this but yeah basically designed the thing from the ground up. I imagine he took inspiration from other boats and made it his own. I think in the final episode we'll do a breakdown of cost.

Hi guys new to your channel I'm a welder guy and this video popped up. I must say there is no way that the capt is a home hobbiest what is his back ground no one just picks up a tig and welds aliminium like that and can polish the welds with such perfection that is crazy I see high level car builders that can't achieve that level of sheet metal. Capt should defects pursue the rod holder idea an engineering master piece keep them coming
