Yea league has been good the player base can be a bit more challenging sometimes as they seem to be a bit saltier but I think it’s mainly because of the size of the game and the larger player base in general lol. You going to jump back into smite when smite2 comes out?

@@thegodlygamer2272 yea jhin is sick probably one of the most nuanced Adcs I’ve played in lol so far. Think i still prefer the straight up on hit crit adcs like jinx but he’s dope. Honestly I feel smite 2 will either like re energise the game and help the game grow or kill smite. It all depends really how hi Rez play it with competitive, bugs, gameplay changes etc. from what I’ve seen so far the changes they are making have all been really positive. The new item system is more like leagues as well as other things. The game is more fun with friends 100% unless you get into ranked and then play ranked duel Which I find fun on my own doing 1v1s but I am probably a psycho as my mates hate the mode lol

If you like that type of game aka mobas/overwatch style shooter movement smite is the best of both worlds or jump on when I’m online if you’re eu! Such a fun game wish it was bigger as someone who’s played smite for like 10 years lol

@Red39x oh yeah I remember trying to convince them bc of smite 2 coming out. It's similar to league but it's still so different and I really want to learn it.

@@Thecoomzoom it’s similar in the fact that it’s a moba and some abilities are similar but there are quite a few big gameplay differences other than the obvious of everything being skill shots and camera angle. Smite feels a little bit less like a chess match and strategy isn’t as important especially not in casual/ranked games where as I’ve found in lol if you’re out of position you die. Download it and solo Q, there are also a good few discord servers for smite and everyone for the most part is really sound!

@@Red39x Yeah, yeah. Whenever I get a notification from the Nvidia app, I'm updating right away. Who knows. Could be Smite servers (it's known they have issues over the years). Could also be my hardware in general, that is failing after all these years. On the other hand, It haven't noticed such a thing on other games like Valorant, Predecessor etc.

@@TheoGkionis that’s the same thing that’s happened with me for ages literally other games it’s fine & smite dies. However, the opposite has happened where my league of legends is suddenly running like shi and everything else fine lol

@@3dock694 yea Smite 1 is dying tbf. Expected with the release of smite2 though and a lack of development team. However they have done some good updates recently to re energise the game a bit. Smite2 doesn’t really need to be different to the original. It’s got some differences to make the game a bit fresher and the new engine which is all it really needed anyways. Whether that’ll save the game or not we’ll have to wait and see. Coming back to this video now though and looking at both predecessors twitch view count and smites view count for example they are both super low and a bit depressing to be honest. so who knows maybe the rumoured valve moba will blow up and take over?

@@Red39x if anything predecessor brings competition to smite. And smite has never really had competition to be better.

@@3dock694 yea I agree. League and dota have each other to bounce off. Even had HOTS at one point which was taking some players away from both games. Smite is in such a weird situation atm tho with them basically killing Smite1 but not having Smite2 ready and releasing the game for alpha weekends where the game has been borderline unplayable to the point I haven’t even bothered playing the last weekends. Crazy really. Hopefully pred grows too and gets a bit of a bigger player base too. I don’t actually know the player base figures on pred but as I said prior the viewership on both games rn is super low which is worrying.

@@robynrox yeah I know what you mean. It is hard to get into almost doesn’t feel like you’re playing a game or more of like a strategy game but it is fun when you get into it it’s just quite a high learning curve in terms of the click to move and map movement tbh

Anubis wins 90%of the time I'm sure. The issue with Tiamat is that she has no early pressure and even though she can interrupt the Anubis 1 she doesn't have the early pressure to compete I don't think. If you get full CD on Tiamat and start to come online she does well but you just gotta make sure you don't fall to far behind on her and play safe early.

Yea I think Bastet is top tier atm and it probably is better tbh but I like going a trans for the mana mainly because you’re spamming so much so will trade the extra dmg to be able to throw more abilities if you get me? The soul eater is just personal preference really lol

its a good game with potential, the movement is really good and the combat is decent, that being said I'm not sure what to think of it in the long term. I just really hope the devs keep improving the game, releasing new characters and making sure the balance of the game is good & hopefully it keeps going strong.

Yea that’s facts to be honest. As you said unless you enjoy finding bugs and working your way through the game it’s not that fun. Don’t get me wrong it’s not awful and it is playable & i guess you just need to constantly remind yourself it isn’t a full release which can be hard to do sometimes. Yea that's a 100% better way to do it. Bed new players into the game by playing brawl. To be honest you kind of got to be in the mood for conquest game modes. Lol, Rookie numbers 😉 To be honest I did the same thing with Smite, I have seasons of inactivity like I didn't play at all in Season 3 & then only played here and there in some of the other seasons but the newer seasons eg Season 7 onwards I re-found some love for the game lol. Honestly Predecessor is genuine a very good game. The map interactions are dope, the game play is very smooth & as you said it does like very good but, I do feel the exact same way about spending money, its a game that I definitely won't be spending any money on especially nothing in the sums that i've spent on Smite over the years. After Playing Smite 2 I'm alot more excited for that than I am predecessor doing updates to be honest and looking forward to how Smite 2 will evolve really. Yep its a Welsh accent lol, where abouts in Wales are you from?

I've heard others say the same about Smite 2; I'll probably get the basic founder's pack and join in the for the next alpha weekend. I'm in Cardiff, had a lot of friends dotted around south east Wales over the years. GLHF :)

You’ve come to the right person I think my favourite god in duel if not smite is tsukuyomi lol, you have to play the match up like a mage tbh, don’t get me wrong he does struggle into a vamana especially in the mid game where vamana is tanky and also kills you and has a lot of chase down potential. The aim would be to out pressure him early when u got a full trans/soul eater online and never really get in melee range. you want to just constantly be poking with your 1 and 3 and if he gets in range 2 his knock up from the dash stun and get back to being at distance unless ofc you have a kill potential. Surviving his mid game dive is tough, you have to have a sprint and horrific. Build wise id go. Trans, soul eater, breastplate, hydras, brawlers/serated edge and heart seeker, can potentially swap out the hydras for a berserk shield/glad shield for more ports. Hope that makes sense.

@@Red39x some of the kit is different like Murdock has the mines,wraith kit is switched around and given new life with his ward doing more than having vision. Sparrow,drongo,rev,grim,twin all have the same kits. (Murdock was switched from having a grenade launcher to the mines and I don't remember what his other ability was. Wraith his ult was the invisibly which gave it to him and every allie around him now it's just only him and it's a regular ability that has bonus effects,his regular ability used to be rewind but it's his ult which is a way better change, ward adds bonus to his knock knock and attacking). A lot of characters in og pargon did have passives unless it took an ability slot so that also affects how characters are as well.

@@WShoup9818 awh fair enough, good to know that they actually took time to make certain characters better and feel a bit different as it would of just been the easy thing to do releasing all the OG characters exactly the same so thats cool. Hopefully they continue to listen to the community and keep improving!

I do get what you mean though that’s why try make the game as fun as I can and experiment a bit. I’m new to predecessor though so I’m learning every game I play as I’ve recorded every game I’ve played basically so it’s just a learning process, I’m as bad as the other “sub 1000” mmr players really.
