please dont lie --- checklist cant download.

I'm a newbie in the SaaS world, working hard to lift my startup off the ground with fewer than 20 employees. Our main hurdle? Nailing down robust information security, particularly access control. Recently stumbled upon the "Comprehensive Access Control Policy Template" for ISO 27001 compliance, seems like just the ticket. Any seasoned ISO 27001 folks here with a template or guidance to share? Your help would be legendary!

You need to clearly define your risk likelihood and cost (effect/consequence) bands so they are rationally distributed. Then it is more robust to calculate the effective cost of a risk and simply rank by defined risk appetite. For example: Low risk - can be handled with current resources and no material balance sheet effect. Med risk - can be handled without increasing debt Significant risk - will increase debt, but not impair our cost of debt Major risk - will increase cost of debt---to will bankrupt the company. BTW an even number of categories is desirable to avoid 'drift to the middle'.
