Petco is awesome, if you know what you’re looking for you can get a good deal there, my local petco doesn’t have such high-end fish there they go as high as like a hippo tang. 25$ is a gift

I caught mine eating my peppermint shrimp today. Everytime I came into the room he swam over to the last chunks of it and started waving it in my face before taking a bite. I feed him a mix of pellets and raw food several times a day, he also munches on Algae so there this was unexpected. Now I know why my juvenile goby disappeared day 1.

I bought a baby Blue Hippo Tang a few days ago. I have a 125 Gallon Tank, plus two 32.5 Gallon tanks, two 20 Gallon Tanks (One is an Axolotl tank), and 5 smaller tanks. Some of our tanks are Saltwater, some Brackish Water, and some Freshwater. Right now, he or she, is the size of a quarter. I thought it might be safer for me to put him one of the 32.5 Gallon tanks with 2 Clownfish and a Goby, since my 125 Gallon has a Porcupine Puffer in it. My Porcupine Puffer ate a couple of tiny Clownfish a little over a year ago, when I first bought the Puffer, and he was on hunger strike. Ever since he did that, we started feeding him a couple of Feeder Goldfish per day, a couple of nbocks of Krill, and peas...And, he hasn't eaten or even nipped at another pet fish again. Do you think I should wait a couple of months to introduce my Blue Hippo Tank to the 125 Gallon tank? Also, do the Blue Hippos like Krill? And, can they eat the Algae Wafers that I have for my Plecos?

So I got a question I got a 55 gallon that I’m turning into a saltwater tank and a 12 gallon that I’m turning into a sump my overflow box rates at a 150 gallons and my return pump is 750 gallons per hour. Do you think that’ll work out or should I go less or higher on the pump?

I’ve put in my hard scape, when should I place my sub straight / bacterial sand, how much saltwater should I make using a 5g.depot bucket .im waiting to acquire a salt/gravity meter.not putting any critters or fish in for awhile. Can I start the cycle without a meter ?? So many “?” Here is whole YT VIDIO FOR YOU !

@derekdicks98905 ай бұрын
How long before you had to clean the tank? I haven't set one up yet, so I'm doing a lot of studying. I've hired you dont have to clean a salt water tank nearly as much as fresh water.

Closing the upper valve on your pump to much will cause cavitation which will leed to early pump failure

got mine pretty much as an adult introduced with three other fish and it was fine added a juvenile tang. klled my wrasse ten killed my damsels and even though they were fine at first finished off my tang. now im stuck with a murder fish. its in a 55 gallon with egg crate separating it from my blue spot puffer. damsel died in quarantine and tang died cuz it got caught in the rocks running. i know it was him because he was the only fish without torn fins and was the only on fat. for the most part left my puffer alone. now theres only 2 fish aint risking it
