It’s rare in our movies but seeing the North Vietnamese girl crying at her own lost love, whom we saw get blown away, made me tear up even more. There are no ‘bad guys’ in war.

Great scene!! The guy you hate the whole movie redeems himself in the end and both men recognize the honor and courage in each other. One of my favorite movies by far. I had to go where they filmed it. Chimney Rock state park in North Carolina. Highly recommended!!
