Brilliant gig. This was one of my favourites.

Each to their own but I disagree. Seeing them in last 10 years or so you've had to reset expectations certainly, but the ravages of time hit us all & Mac has changed his delivery accordingly. The songs are still there, Will is still a guitar legend and Mac is still the coolest man on the planet. I rest my case 🤣

I was there. Thought it was awful, which saddens me as they were one of my favs growing up. His vocal chords are completely shot.

You clearly like to stand in the same place as me although I think that I was in front of you here and Subterania a few days later. The sound at this was messy. Subterania was a perfect gig despite Jaz keeling over due to the inferno heat level x Thanks for sharing.

The heat there was on par of when I saw The Cult at The Marquee 1991.. sweat dripping of the ceiling

In 40+ years of going to gigs, I've never experienced heat like that - glad that Brighton was a bit better (but not much - bloke stood in front of us passed out after about an hour). Worth it, though!

I don't think I've ever seen Jaz look so fried at a gig before. Can't imagine how rough it was for Big Paul in that heat as well.
