Murburn concept allows us to see several cellular processes with a totally new perspective. For one, things were deterministic earlier and now, they are stochastic. We chart out why and how oxygen evolved to become the elixir of life. The work also paves way for better understanding the origin, sustenance, perpetuation-termination and evolution of life. Quite simply, we chart out how life functions as a powered machine in real space and time; with respect to energetics, kinetics and mechanistics. It is envisaged that these paradigm-shift insights would have unprecedented impact on the pursuits in biology and medicine.
