I grew up in St Helens Road, just a bit further down the road to where the car turns off into Hulton Lane. A bit strange seeing the area here in the footage. Just left after turning into Hulton Lane there used to be a chippy run by an Italian and his British wife. I reckon they made the best chips in Bolton. The bus used to terminate here before returning back to the town centre. That was all a very long time ago now when Bolton was a great place to live in and visit. I moved abroad 40 years ago and have never looked back, but I'm appalled all the same at what has been made of this lovely town since then.

Here is why I'm a little discouraged by dieseling air videos... many of these are ending with unproven statements that say that dieseling will or probably should damage your rifle despite old folks online who have been taught by elders to diesel and have done nothing else with Airguns for decades with NO "blown seals", lead buildup, or other damage to the hardened steel parts that these guns are made of. If you worry about such, DON'T TRY IT, keep unproven opinions to yourselves, and STOP SPOUTING UNPROVEN RHETORIC of others who haven't even tried it! ZERO DAMAGE to 5 guns, 1 PCP rifle, 1 gas breakbarrel, a 2240XL, and a 6 round revolver, several thousand shots, and all not only working fine, but all holding a full charge overnight for our protection up to the PCP for several weeks or more, and I've not tested for longer get periods yet, because I shoot a lot, but I'm betting those seals will hold up into the apocalypse! Just stop being mindless parrots, please, and use silicone or other proper oils in your arms!
