Guys, a hot tip, grab yourself a Honda EU2 genni to cart with you as being in shade will not support your Solar as well as running off grid over night to keep cool and will run your batteries down quick smart. The Honda EU 2 is a silent compact genni and you will have full charge all the time. Your van obliviously is not sustainable over a few days off grid, so do yourself a favour. The Honda EU2 runs on the smell of an oily rag and connected to your 240v sources will pump back into your batteries in the van in no time OK.

@@stevepierce3509 funny you should say that… we have one sitting in the shed at home in SA! We didn’t think we would need it. Full sun we go alright but we were covered by a fair bit of shade. We thought we might be right but clearly weren’t haha. It was only supposed to be an overnighter too but we loved it and stayed for 3 nights!! Thanks heaps for watching!!

So so good you guys went to Adelaide River War Memorial Cemetery . I appreciate it , thank you from living up here as not the Majority of Australian's know what happened her as well as overseas that gave there heart , soul , blood, sweat and tears , left there Families not knowing if they would return to there loved ones to protect Australia as what we know it today. I congratulate you guys showing your children these places to get an understanding of what there forefathers sacrificed to have what they have today. Not many families will teach there children, or take them to dawn services to get an understanding how free they are for the sacrifice of many a Man in Battle to have what we have today. Well done guys.

Great video and well done for helping other people out. We are at Dundee beach now and planning on driving down to the Finnis River tomorrow but after seeing how soft it is down that way I am second guessing myself.

Just came across you guys. Great content. Congrats. What speed did you average on the Birdsville and Oodnatta tracks? Heading out that way late September.

Birdsville track we only went up to Clayton station but the little bit from Marree to there was brilliant. We still took it pretty easy though at around 60km/h. Oodnadatta track was horrible between Marree and William Creek and I think we would have averaged around 30-40km/h. From William Creek to Oodnadatta we would have been a bit faster because the track was a lot better but there was so many creek crossings and flood ways so had to slow down a lot… would get up to speed and have to slow down again!! All part of the fun!!

We used to live in an outback town and used to do 6 hour drives to town with the two oldest ones but they’ve bloody lost their stamina! 😂😂 Cheers guys! May see ya round the place!

Some great camping spots you found! We had the worst weather when we were at the York, so bloody windy! Ending with a $150 find for camping in an undesignated camp site, not a fun experience haha

There was a freecamp on Wikicamps and we even talked to someone else who parked there it was just on the side of the road. The ranger didn't give us a warning unfortunately!@@toesuptravelling
