I wish I'd known these were coming down the line. I got the 1st gen Bolt. IRAY said these will only work with the V2.....talk about heartache
@outdoorlegacy5 ай бұрын
You can always sell yours and upgrade. Like all electronics and technology, about the time you buy something, a new version or model will come out and it will likely be better and maybe cost less. This has been true with thermal scopes for sure over the last 10 years. Our only suggestion is to keep what you have and don’t look at anything new (haha) or sell what you have and upgrade but either way the new models will continue to roll out. 😎
@seetownwv5 ай бұрын
@outdoorlegacy Trust me it goes through my mind lol. Yes that's what I tell people on the fence about thermal. Prices are getting lower an technology is getting better. Have you all decided anything about selling the RIX Thermals?

So......the new update that just come out for the recticle adds bluetooth to the TL35V1 an per IRAY people have added the AC80 with good success. You all are always way ahead of the game so I'm sure you know but just FYI lol
@outdoorlegacy5 ай бұрын
Thank you for the kind words. What we were told by iRay USA was this… every TL35 V1 that’s updated will now have Bluetooth in the menu but the vast majority don’t have the Bluetooth hardware. So that would be like slapping a 4WD sticker on the bed of a 2WD truck.🤣 But a few of the last V1’s did have the Bluetooth hardware in them, so the update will not just add the Bluetooth in the menu, it will actually work. The problem is, you have to update the TL35 with firmware that isn’t necessarily supported by iRay USA and if you have a later made unit you might get lucky and have the Bluetooth hardware. It’s an interesting situation for sure!

Whats the specs on the battery pack and cable to be able to run with auxiliary power
@outdoorlegacy6 ай бұрын
Any normal USB battery pack that will run a cell phone or other USB device will run the RH25, nothing special needed. We usually run Anker battery packs. The cable needed comes with the RH25 and has an odd 7 pin plug on the end that goes to the scope. It’s a stiff cable and longer than it needs to be but the other end is USB so you can plug it into the battery pack. Thanks for watching!

Question. Do reticles on oray and pulsars recenter after zeroing? I run agms and say for example you stary wuth your x and y on 0 and u hit high and right. Then you move your reticle to poi that is high amd right amd save parameters. The reticle stays there and does not recenter. Its all fine and dandy and works fine it just looks really weird whe looking in a scope and the reticle is no where near center. Just curious if ither brands recenter?
@outdoorlegacy6 ай бұрын
No current brands re-center. If your reticle is way off center like that you likely either have a mounting issue, a rail problem, a rifle problem or a scope that isn't correctly collimated. Most of the time if you're zero is within a normal movement you won't notice it's off center. It will still be off center but you won't notice it. But once you make those long adjustments you're definitely going to see the reticle being off to one direction.

I'm in the market for a dedicated clip-on. I'm torn between this and the Bering Optics Super Yoter C. What is your opinion of this RH25 vs the Yoter C as a clip on out to 200 yards on coyotes and hogs?
@outdoorlegacy7 ай бұрын
Being 100% honest with you…I wouldn’t suggest any clip on that is available on the hunting market today. Not one of them. With that said, it needs to be noted the RH25 only works with 1x base mag scopes like a LPVO. The Yoter C will work MUCH better with a very low (1x or 2x) daytime optic but at least Bering does have attachments for other day optics. But again, just being honest, there’s less than a 0% chance I’d spend this kind of money and buy a clip on. I’d rather buy a cheaper 384 or 640 resolution optic and spend the extra on a dedicated rifle for the setup. You’d be way way ahead when it comes to performance, usability, image quality and resale value. Just our 2 cents!
