What size did you print out the book covers to stick? Was it a certain printer?

I use a normal printer! I size the images 1.5 inches by 1 inch. I usually fill up a normal 11x8.5 sized paper with as many book covers that’ll fit before I print, to save paper! I think it’s usually around 30 book covers that fit on one sheet of paper but I might be wrong ☺️

I would totally do it!! I usually like to gather supplies around Black Friday for my next years journal so I can spend less money on everything. It takes a long time to set up, but once you’ve got your yearly spreads done it’s a fun and relaxing thing to do during the week. 😊

if you want a recommendation on books written by a polish author, I would recommend the Necrovet series by Joanna Gajzler. sweet, fluffy and has magical animals! 😁

The Golden Spruce sounds surprisingly intriguing... I've heard a lot of good things about My Brilliant Friend, but that comment about how it would "shape the summer you read it in" really resonated. I had a goal of "designing my summer", which I spoke about in my June wrap-up/review video, and my ears perked up hearing that phrasing, "shaping the summer". That alone made it go higher up in my TBR pile. I might consider reading in August.

I'm having such a kick watching everybody's answers to this tag ^^ I should publish my own in a couple of days I think, and it's my first time reading it, so I'm so so so excited! I've been hearing only good things about that series from Fredrik Backman, but it's thick!!! And the hockey thing doesn't really appeal to me... Yet, I'm so intrigued about why everybody loves it so much! Do I want to invest that amount of time just to know what the hype is about??? The reader's dilemma! XD

Ugh, I know! I even put off the series too but I’m so glad I finally read it. I wouldn’t say it talks a lot about the game of hockey but more so the politics and the way that hockey runs this town and people’s lives. Try it out and see if you like it!! 🥹

A season TBR is a good idea! Just finished the cruel Prince in May as well. I am not sure how I am feeling about it. But I started reading it and then i listened to it as an audiobook instead and I enjoyed it more 😊😊 just like you said 😊

I believe Emma only purchased Ice. Her viewers recommended this book, but I don't remember whether she has it or not. I do know for sure she hasn't read it yet. I follow her account religiously 😅. It's a great book, btw. Left an everlasting impression on me and I do recommend reading it in winter.

Eight or nine books a month is still impressive to me, I'm lucky to finish one lol. I'd love to see more about how you use Goodreads and Storygraph! Do you track your reading daily, or just log books when you've finished them? Why do you use multiple trackers?

I use GR & StoryGraph mostly to log books that I’ve read and also for books I’d like to read that I don’t own! The rest of my trackers I do in my reading journal. Most of them are just for fun but I also love seeing stats and how my reading changes overtime. 😊

I can really relate. I’ve been reading non-fiction more deeply recently. For me this looks like giving dense/more academic non-fiction two read throughs. A first read to prime all the info and a second read where I go in and highlight and annotate the book. This means im gonna read less books im sure, but that’s fine. I struggle with how reading as a hobby gets framed as an exercise in productivity. I think we lose a lot when we’re too focused on a reading goal for the year.
