I agree with others who have said this is the clearest explanation/demonstration of what is actually happening when weaving. Thank you so much. Weaving videos are such a help to me.

Thank you so much for this. I’m assembling mine right now and I got to step 5 and was like, “You want me to smack a hexagon screw into a round hole that doesn’t fit. Um no. Clearly I’m reading this wrong.” But glad to see it is actually that and it works. Haha!

Thanks for your video. So many people said this was easy to do but I was definitely confused at times. The springs and and tension fishing wire part almost had me in tears! I watched your video a few times for guidance so thanks again!

Setting up the tension is definitely fiddly. Glad you found the video helpful.

Thank you so much, I too just wrapped my yarn backwards, included my reed in the wrap 🫣🤦🏼♀️. What a mess! Your tutorial was very helpful, I am new at weaving and the warping has been a stumbling block for me. I am anxious to start anew with more confidence, thank you 🙏🏻 🎉

This is really great. Thank you so much! This is obviously the “newer” model RH loom (double heddle). I hope it’s similar enough to the older model I’ve had in storage for years and am about to assemble. 🤞

Thank you for great instructions. I do have one question regarding the heddles, did you cut the loops on the remaining bunches prior to putting the frames into the castle?

Yes we did.

Great video! I have a dislocated elbow so had to get an ex husband involved (aged 79 with a bit of fogetfulness). He was trained as a fitter in his youth back in the 50s. We both enjoyed putting this together. Neither of us could have understood the paper instructions as we are both old school, so thank you so much.

This really helped me because this is the same loom I bought. However, I wish I could have seen more clearly what you meant by tying in a "loose" knot. I tried several times to see, but I couldn't. I realized I interpreted it incorrectly, but I hope I understand now. Thanks for the help!

Great instructions but I don't understand how you put the heddles on. Also, what are the cotter pins for on the top of the loom?
@AdelaideWalkerWool Жыл бұрын
Hi Carolyn. The heddles are a bit tricky. The big loops in the heddles (at kzfaq.info/get/bejne/fbuRbMSduK6reYU.html) need to go over the ends of the two metal rods on the frame. You take the pins out and slot them through the side of the loom to hold the beater in place when you are threading the reed.
