You can manage to fix the problem by going to Control Panel > User Accounts > Mail, then deleting the old profile and creating a new one. Try also repairing Outlook.

For anyone wanting to to this... don't use a knife like that, use a boxcutter. I just scored along 2-3 times on the seam around all four edges...and it just pops off easily. You can either try to line up the lid (difficult because there are no clips), or just forget the lid and put a couple lengths of electrical tape over each side holding the new drive in.

Your download games and save files are all installed on the original 250 gb hard drive. If you want to access them again, you’ll need to transfer them to the new drive

if you try this again later i recomend aplying a little heat around the glue first to soften it, just don't get it to the point the plastic melts

ah so it is glue. Thanks for the vid theirs few vids covering 360 slim HDD disassembly and i didn't want to damage the shell trying to get in to change the drive later. it's good to know how things are held together before tearing it down.

Theoretically you could clone the original one and upgrade to an ssd or a 500gb HDD that isnt an original xbox one

Probably stupid question, but can I replace Xbox HDD with SSD? My Xbox 360 didn't have a hard drive included. Used X360 HDD and new SSD's are in similar prices. Getting HDD case and a brand new SSD seems a better idea to me.

@@derpdude32 Yea, but this is confusing. I've seen somewhere a video where man succesfully formatted SSD without any issues. Meanwhile people claims that I'll need to mod my X360. Some sources claims that I'll need to mod a disk itself, and some people say that nothing else, but a specific HDDs will work. Some of these infos are old AF, I don't get it.

@@alphabookm4793 It all depends, I have seen them replaced normally but if IFixit is telling me correctly then apparently it voids some 360s terms of service agreements and can get you kicked off Xbox live in some cases. Again I do not know myself but I might try this experiment later this year. Until then I would just play it safe and replace the HDD with one from the inside of a 360 slim HDD case

CAT5 cable is typically used for Ethernet networks running at 100 Mbps or 1 Gbps. Cable twisting length is not standardized, but typically there are 1.5-2 twists per cm in Cat-5(e) and 2+ twists per cm in Cat-6. So basically CAT5 on its own has sufficient number of twists for noise cancellation.
