This is the kit he used to use with sepultura. When this was recorded he was still in sepultura but already in the audition process for slipknot. Once he got the slipknot gig he changed his drum kit.

Are you sure because in the video they say "you've just joined slipknot". You might have your timings off a little

@@RaynaVandel Yes, the first drumeo video with Eloy was released december last year, all those videos are recorded at the same time but drumeo takes a long time till release them. Eloy has been on the drumeo studios december last year to record all of this. By this time, as was already told in interviews, he was auditioning to slipknot, had to wait a little bit to know if he really got into the band. Eloy Announced he was leaving sepultura on february 06 this year and have not returned to the drumeo studios ever since. What i think is that brandon of drumeo recorded this part of the video after and edit it.

If you are down for a 1 hour video, you need to watch the Brann Dailor Drumeo masterclass. Every song he did there is reaction worthy, especially because he also sings while playing the drums on certain songs (they have 3 vocalists, and all 4 sing live) If you only want to do one (any maybe more later) do The Last Baron, no singing but phenomenal drum work

My issue is my e kit is out of sync with youtube audio, making play alongs not possible to record. I can't figure out how to separate the edit audio from the desktop audio. Their coming out of the sane track ao I can't offset the sync timing
@RaynaVandel4 күн бұрын
On OBS, go into the advanced audio settings and you can offset the audio of the one that is behind ✌️
@thejimmichanga29133 күн бұрын
@RaynaVandel The problem I'm having is even separating the tracks, the desktop audio still comes through the drum track and visa versa making multiple audio sources come through the same track in the audio mixer. Doesn't matter what driver I use (asio4all, my interface driver, etc. It wants to record all audio sources through a single track, even though I have multiple selected in advance properties. So I'm stuck in a situation where I can't offset since both my drums and desktop audio are coming out of the same source. It's weird, because it's the only occasion where this has happened in OBS. No issues with guitar.
@RaynaVandel3 күн бұрын
@@thejimmichanga2913 look into the OBS plug in which separates all your audio sources. I have forgotten what it's called

It isn't about speed or even power. It's about the groove and feeling. Eloy chops are insane, You can clearly notice that during jay drumming live, fills are robotized, cause he lacks the "feeling", in certain metal genres it works but in Slipknot case the songs are very percusive oriented, drumming sound and feeling the songs are vital.
