And what shutter speed does it use??? Seems not that "slow". More like 1/30 s.

I just got my D780 and so far I really like it. LiveView is brilliant, I get full functionality with old AF-D lenses, and I think that the shutter is quieter than the D750.

The low-light capability of the D780 is just awesome, probably one of the best amongst Nikon' DSRLs.

This was my first real camera that lets you change lenses. Something I didn't expect was the manual zoom. In hindsight, I should have just got a bridge camera, as it's the cheapest way to get reach, the main reason I was looking for a phone alternative camera in the first place.

I have an Olympus TG6 which is one of the tough series models. I love the idea of knowing the camera will be okay and not questioning if it can deal with a little bit of rain or moisture when taking pictures! I plan to buy a EM5 Mk2 once I save enough money for very similar reasons! Olympus continues to impress and this video only reinforces my opinions!

None of them are sealed. Humidity can always get in, that's what kills your camera. If you care about your gear use a rain cover, acclimatise them when bringing them in from the cold and store in a dry place.

Even now, you can buy it on second hand market is more than enough to avoid buying full frame equipment. Just ISO could be a problem if you need.

0:50 there is a dramatic increase in detail in the raindrops when shifting from 8-bit to 10-bit color. Net-net, it appears to be raining much harder @ 10-bit color. Amazing.

Really enjoyed the context of the video; I do something similar but usually in the mountains or alpine lakes. Thank you! As for the lens; it looks like a good option as you noted for that everyday shooting that can be mixed. Considering with an OM5. Btw; how did you find it for video?

I use a G100 alongside an OM-1 and a D4 for weddings, christenings and the like. Goes on a wee PD Capture Clip with a fast portrait lens while the other two have a tele and a wide. It's been great. This video was among the persuasion that led me to try one, and cast off the near hysteria caused by the lack of IBIS. So thanks for that.

My Sony Fx30 got wet a few days ago, water got inside the backpack and it didn't want to turn on, can anyone give me some hope? I have it in rice and in silica bags for humidity, it is already 48 hours old, waiting for a miracle and it turns on.

Just bought this camera and I am impressed at its image quality, ease of use and dynamic range. Microphones work as described. However, even shooting stills it gets very hot. This really surprises me. I wonder if I have a bad copy or all g100s have this problem.

So tempted by this camera. I have a D500 and D850 and was looking for a smaller mirrorless system. Olympus M43 caught my eye. Started looking at the E-M5 line and quickly escalated up to the OM-1. However, I settled on a used E-M1 iii for $800 ($1000 less than a used OM-1). I also bought a used 12-40 f2.8 pro II lens. Give me a year or so, I might pick up a used OM-1 as its price cones down. It looks like a VERY impressive camera.
