When I first saw this game I was over a mates house and my mate and his brother were playing this game and the scene when Kendo gets eaten I ran down stairs due to shitting myself just the idea of zombies eating me just terrified me. Ever since have always been fascinated with zombie Apocalypse shows, films and video games. The RE franchise is among the best.

I just finished, I need more 💯💪🏽 love Star Ocean so much, my break into this series started as a boy with a copy of Star Ocean 3: Till the end of time on PS2, I can't thank you enough for this, I hope that I can find the next part of this, perhaps a continuation of it's not out, I'm not into reading manga but this makes me want to. There are so many good stories told on the PS1 that deserved a show, but none more than this one. I'm glad this story got told and I hope someday it gets a modern reanimation. If we could get Wild arms 2 as well I can die without regrets

The scariest thing is not the monstrous forms it takes on, but the thought that it was originally a man. I can't imagine what a nightmare it is to be trapped in that constantly monstrous changing body, without being able to have control over the body or without having the possibility of killing yourself to make the suffering stop. Is death the worst thing? No, I think it would be better to die than live like this.

It's basicly the 1st disc of the original so2, for its time this was amazing, having anime to go along with my favourite game.

I just finished Star Ocean 2, and this show is weird. I feel like this game is the worst possible game you could make into a TV show, because the whole point of the game is that it's from 2 different perspectives, there's optional private actions, optional characters, and a ton of different endings.

Pour one out for the lack of a season 2 with Anime Noel and Chisato. 🥃Also hot take but these voices are a better fit (mispronunciation of Claude and Rena aside) for the characters than the PSP/Switch cast. Celine has more range of emotion, and Ashton doesn't sound like he's trying too hard compared to the newer games.

I just realised how the English dub voice actors pronounced "Claude". Wow, that's bad... I watched this series a long time ago but in Japanese, apart from a couple of English dubbed episodes, so I had no idea for the past 15+ years. I thought this was awesome back then, but I was mostly excited that there was an anime series based on one of my all-time favorite videogames. My standards and tastes have changed significantly since then, and now I think this anime is hot garbage (overall). I still like the opening and closing themes ("Go to the Light" and "Hearts"), and I'm happy that the anime's soundtrack was composed by Motoi Sakuraba, the same person who composed the OST for Star Ocean 2 videogame.

Really liked this one. A lot of it wasn't great story-wise, but what was there did a decent job of respecting the source material, and it's drawn relatively well for the time. As many have said, shame we never got a second season on Nede. Now that I think about it, maybe that's partially because the production value was good.
