Ouch… Sure, my teaching style isn’t for everyone. But that was just plain rude. I hope your will to live returned after you flipped back to your favorite short-form content creator. Life is too precious to concern yourself with the opinions of those who don’t know you to begin with. Cheers!

Hello your video is great, please can you advise me how i turn off the automatic anchoring. Problem is i cant put items where i want on deskopt, automaticly is add to another item by central, etc.. can you please answer me ? thanks

Good Stuff, often you can get close to what you search for, this was exactly what I was looking for. You should make more videos. You have a great voice for it, good tempo and information and also, the perfect amount of humor. you put em up ill watch em!

Hi I was watching few time and not catch it what you are clicking (your in the screen) when you have the ornament finished and you go to X the fill and put a number in the stroke style it changed whole ornament finished.... what?? I don't understand it at all.... not get it so how? Since I tried to read on CC but you did not say anything how and what is clicking???

Love your video, and I'm new to Inkscape and when typing a "word" I can not get the whole word to move at one time, my question is how in the world do I do that or anyone?

odd think. I have a jpeg and traced its outline and put a circle around it. Looks great. I then ran the union command. Now my outline inside the circle is gone. Any thoughts? thanks.

Techie Thomas I need your help! Can you help me create a polygon and I need the sides all of them 1.50 inches wide. Im trying to make a hot water heat element socket.

AAH! I had this great idea to start making content, then I fell off the face of the earth... So sorry about that! I know you don't need this NOW (a year later), but I'll throw this out there anyhow! What you're looking for a some quick math! You say polygon, do you mean 6 sided, 8 sided, 24 sided??? Here's the gist of what you'd need: I'm going to assume it's a polygon w/ an even number of sides for this example... If you want a slice with 1.5" sides, then you cut that in half, you're dealing with leg "a" being 0.75" long and it's opposite angle = 180/sides... You this formula: 2*(1/(TAN(180/SIDES)/0.75)) This uses the TAN(ANGLE) = Opposite/Adjacent to solve for the radius of the circumscribed circle, then multiplies it by 2 to get the width of the polygon (flat-to-flat). If your polygon is a 6-sided polygon you'd put the following into your calculate: 2*(1/(Tan(180/6)/0.75)) = 2.5981... This should be the width of your polygon from side-to-side... Just draw a polygon with the sides to the left/right of the image, then scale the polygon to this width! If you get a weird negative number, you're calculator is dealing in radians and you need to add a little bit inside the TAN() bit to convert it to degrees... 2*(1/(Tan((180/6)*pi/180)/0.75)) Just replace the 0.75 with half your required flat side width and replace "6" with the number of sides in your polygon... Good luck!

I watched this vid 2 days ago it was like janapese. Then 3 hours of inkscape tutorial later not i get it! This guy know his shit come back after learning inksacpe a but and learn from him.
