Indeed He did. While He couldn’t experience every issue that you or I might face, He most certainly got tired, frustrated, He cried at the loss of a friend, and He went through very real anguish (mental and physical).

Love this hike! So many great memories on this trail. Have you camped here before? If you drive past the main parking lot, there are several backcountry camping spots on that road. Just subbed!

I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Today, I attended the funeral of my beloved mother's cousin. This was one of the verses read. We will miss you, Rayford.

@@ZacharyLeePeters Thanks. And it doesn't get any better. As I was leaving for his funeral, I saw on FB that a girl that I was in school with was low. Sadly, she left this world this past Friday. Her funeral was today at another local Lutheran Church. And the church was full. She was well thought of. We will all miss you, too, Robin. She had a saying though, whenever someone she knew passed, she would just smile and say, "See you on the flip side." She had a cheerful outlook, no matter what life threw at her.

I disagree with your thoughts on that sentence. I believe that the words "the beginning" are so much more important than the rest. He implies that the beginning is much different than the end. This sentence says that though you have fear in the beginning you will find love in the end. Knowledge and wisdom are not the same thing; knowledge is what you know and wisdom is knowing how to use what you know. You misquoted the passage as well saying that it was the beginning of wisdom when it says its the beginning of knowledge.

He does not imply anything of the sort. This reflection is based on proper exegesis and thorough reflection on other secondary sources looking at the same scripture.
