How do you launch Sephiroth into the air so he can dodge attacks while building his limit break? I can't seem to do it.

​@@kevinburke1325 Fill up his triangle attack bar by using his normal attacks then dodge and press triangle when it's full

You don't unlock him, there's a just a single Chadley mission where you can play as him. Fixed loadout, no levelling up etc

@@huberttherrien5419 I've tried, just not an overall fan. Whenever I can find one of those speedrunning uploads from the more competitive gamers, I can understand WHY they are running the builds they are and what areas I could be misplaying or overlooking, and have a much more fulfilled experience. That's just me though.

Sephiroth does not have a block, he has a stance

@@jaytrocio2075 nope its for parry and if you try to time the stance he will then block only the 1st hit and get bodied by the rest, the only way he can nullify any damage is by parrying in that stance, good thing is he cannot be grabbed. Not giving him a block is lore accurate, given how powerful he is, it will a shameful thing for him to block anyones attack, see the last cutscene of the game which ends at sephiroth blocking cloud and aerith’s attack and then retreats.

I can feel your pain, Yuffi was still manageable, but Caith took me alone around 4 hours to beat it.(Scorpion was the hardest part for me)

@@MinyNeo Scorpions really easy hes got this hidden mechanic where if u hit him with fire and then ice when hes on his back he almost instanlty staggers. the last onefor cait was hard cuz sometimes that purple laser shot one shots you and your dps is low so u just drag it on and slowly take his HP

Nah because you can cheese all of them with a well put together magic build. I think I used enhanced marlboro orb on cait sith and used a lot of time materia & red 13's icexswiftcast/mp/hp absorb was a breeze

Just started the run. Finish the game and complete all Chadley's Intel along with Prototelics for Gilgamesh. Select chapter 13 on Hard to be able to do Additional VR with Sepiroth and Zack.

@@Rain.Strifeit kinda is because they mix the battle theme with the theme of the area like grasslands is a mix of ff7 overworld theme and battle theme

Yer that’s one thing I don’t like bout the genji gloves. They are specifically for if you do OP high damage builds. Most other builds don’t have you reaching the 9999 limit often at all. I wish just naturally at endgame when your max level and upgrading your weapons you reach the 9999 limit and have to find ways to break it. I have a feeling MAYBE in part 3 the ultimate weapons might be like that. Got get them and they break the 9999 threshold for you.

Gotter is unnecessary but still a huge help for this challenge. Limit Breaks will instantly pressure Odin, making the fight much, much easier. You can also use the early LB on Bahamut to clip his wings and slow his phase transitions down, and later down the road to really mess him up. For most other fights the main use of your Cloud LB is to do damage (with unga bunga build even Cross Slash can do 9999 on its final hit). However, there's another use: since LBs stunlock, it gives you 5 to 10 free seconds to smack the boss as Zack and build his charge and ATBs. Against Alexander specifically, using your LB also lets you instantly take an arm out. Genji Glove is better if you're a good player, 100%. But if you're still struggling, Gotter is more useful.

Nah, there's much harder fights than this in some other games. This is just simple strategy and timing between your castings/attack patterns. Plus how convenient it is that everytime you open your menu you have so much time to think and pick out abilities, spells, items because of the pausing feature. Literally too much convenience if you ask me. If you think this is hard, there are other games where you have to do way more chaotic things in real time. FF7R battle system kind of hand holds you.

Right another dumb gimmick battle unfortunately

Okay so you know when he absorbs the particles? During that time you can destroy his wings. if you want to avoid him using his ultimate it’s CRUCIAL you destroy both wings during that time. If you fail this 2-3 times he will use his ultimate. Every time he absorbs his wings are healed back so you need to destroy them everytime… if you succeed he becomes pressured and stunned for about 10-15 seconds. An easy method is to cast bravery on cloud which will allow his braver to one shot a wing. Keep in mind the hitbox is a big wiffy… you wana be literally next to the wing then attack it. Then quickly move next to the other wing and use braver again on that. Synergy attack pressure him also if I’m not mistaken? Bahamut is definitely the most dangerous in this challenge. If you beat him Odin should be a breeze (by this point in the game parrying should be second nature so he will never cast his ultimate). Edit: when destroy bahamuts wings you are also making him less aggressive. Will stop him just rampaging.

You can make Cloud a damage monster with the right setup. Max out his attack stat with folios and weapon upgrades, give him 2 maxed out luck materias, the strength materia, the enemy skill materia, the Odin summon materia, and equip him with Genji glove. Cast bravery on Cloud with Zack (or have Cloud use sonic boom) and let him cook. One aerial braver is enough to take out each of Bahamuts wings, and an infinity’s end during stagger will do BIG numbers. Of course Cloud can still die quickly, so you have to play smart and use your precise blocks/counterfires to survive. This will be especially important for the final round against Odin.

I was so happy when i finally beat virtual sepiroth, i thought yesss i beat rebirth super boss! 😂 I did solos, happy i got 2 left, then the slap in the fking face, this feels harder then everything!!

Zacks simulation fight is definitely the hardest challenge. Just slightly above rulers of the outer worlds.

I'm literally stuck at Odin. All videos I watch, Odin sits there and takes other people's hits without a fuss. I get there every time and he just murders me then Zantets. I cannot beat Odin. Bahamut is easy. Just Darkside + Braver for one hit kills every time. I just can't beat Odin. i don't have enough ATB to keep pressure up because I can't get hits in without him attacking.

Well if you noticed how he kept juggling aggro that strat alone is very useful in the entire game although it's not a very effective strat it's easy to figure out

Yo! Not all heros wear capes, I just wiped to that Mfer. I'm coming back with a vengeance now baby! Its crazy, I saw Odin as the last boss and completely underestimated Bahamut. I can 1v1 Odin all day lol

zack's synergy skill can also pressure him and stop particle charge (not really "stop" it, he still uses it, but doesn't charge particles so it's better since he just stands there)

When you finish Gilgamesh side quest the military will be updated, after finishing all 6 brutal challenges and 7 solo legendary ones you can unblock both Zack and Seph, but those battles are really hard, each of them takes hours of retrying

Yeah High beaver is great but so many particles on screen in this game that it becomes difficult to time square during high beaver

@@godaddy9837 I never looked at the button, u can time it by looking at the atb bar, once spent, count the seconds and press square so that's one way
