I would say regarding charging batteries as I said in your previous video, its best to split up the chargers throughout the house like your doing because of tripping the breaker, but if your yard is not terribly that big, you could offer to mow a neighbor's house and get paid to do there lawn (or do it for free) if you want to have an opportunity to use all six batteries. Also I 100% agree I wish there was a way to charge the mower on the back of the mower, but Greenworks either did not consider it because they want you to use the batteries mainly but also one of the reason you should take the batteries out is if its a really hot day and you leave the mower outside with the batteries in it, that is very bad for the batteries to be kept outside, its recommended to bring them into a temperate room in your house as it says in the directions whenever its the middle of winter below zero or extremely hot out, the batteries are not designed to sit outside for prolonged hours in the heat, so in the end, its actually better you bring them in to charge them (and you make them last longer as well). So if you think about it regarding this one negative, its not a huge deal to put a couple batteries in to bring the mower up to the house, then put the other 4 in the mower. The good news regarding the ability to charge the mower with a cable is Greenworks I believe might be coming out with a 54 inch 80 volt (but I imagine it can work with the 82 volt batteries as well) riding lawnmower and I believe it will have the ability to fast charge it on the back with a nozzle and cable to charge it while the batteries are inside the mower. Or hopefully use the 120 volt from the outlet to charge it that way for slow charging. So unfortunately, there is no way to modify this mower (would be very complicated to modify it I imagine), you would have to sell the 42 inch for the new one when they come out with one to charge the mower while the batteries are in there (the 60 volt currently has one like this). Also the 82/80 volt is exactly what it means you can use both the 80 and 82 volt batteries in the same mower, so the mower between the commercial and residential is the same, just the batteries are the difference in voltage (mainly has to do with the quality of the batteries is that 82 volt has a bettery quality yield over the 80 volt is the main reason and can take a higher charge/voltage. Get a Greenworks 82 volt push mower. I use the 80 volt 25 inch cut mower, its really fantastic! You can probably get the 30 inch mower, but that is $3000.

Wow thank you so much for all the valuable information 😊
@Finger11226 күн бұрын
I am looking into possibly getting my first riding lawnmower and I have already gone with Greenworks 80 volt platform and have bought almost every category of tool they offer in the USA except for the E-Bikes and the Riding Lawnmower now and I own 19 batteries, 4 of them are 8.0 ah batteries which are a beast! Our property with the house is 1800 sq.ft. and I have two Greenworks mowers, one of them is a 21 inch mower, its an older model but its kind on the weak side for thick high grass and lacks a turbo feature on it, the other one I have is the 25 inch lawnmower and that one is way more robust compared to the 21 inch version and it has a turbo mode on it. One reason being that I am looking into one is for various reasons for getting the yard cutting done faster as I am a very busy person with work every week and other uses like riding around town with it like to the grocery store, plus pulling a small trailer on it would be nice as well or carry things in the back! The Zero turn mower 80 volt (but I am aware this can take 82 volt batteries as well) at 42 inches is the one I am interested in getting, not the tractor riding lawnmower. The other reason is I have to store the mower in our shed, which can fit a riding lawnmower but the floor on it is not very sturdy so we have to get it reinforced with a new layer of wood on top. Its luckily just enough room to fit one with a two stage snowblower and a lawnmower in there (we do not have a garage unfortunately). It is a bit of a shame these do not have anyway to AC charge the batteries while they are in the battery ports. Also BTW one thing I don't think your aware is, the Gearbox Oil HAS to be changed out after 50 hours of first use which looks like is on the back in-between the big wheels. Once you drain that and change out the oil, your good to go for 200 hours after that (that is what it says for these mowers). Only other thing is keeping the blades sharpen once a year I think, which you have to roll that up a lift to get at the blades or a ramp of some sort.
@RizandMe25 күн бұрын
Thank you so much for the great comments and information. I was aware about the gearbox all and have changed it out although I did not include that in my video. And I have no real complaints about the mower. I only wish that the batteries would charge in side. I have noticed though when I try to charge all my batteries at once on the same circuit, it tends to trip the breaker on my breaker box. That could’ve been one reason they did not include the charging inside the unit not real sure about that though but I have no complaints other than the charging the batteries and this year I am going to have to sharpen my blades. Thanks again for the great comments. Good luck if you purchase one. I think you’ll be very happy with it.
@Finger11225 күн бұрын
@@RizandMe When you change out the gearbox oil, does it require a lift (to lift the center part below the back storage between the two wheels) on the back to lift the wheels off the ground to take the wheels off to get at the cap on each side of the drive shaft and the holes to insert more oil in or can you just leave the back wheels on? If not that would be a life saver not having to do that if all I have to do is take the cap off and keep the mower on the floor. Still though going to need to have a lift system to raise the front wheels (I would be new to all of this so I have to buy the lifts as well). Also BTW about the complaint I have seen on other KZfaqrs regarding not being able to charge the batteries while they are in the mower itself without having to put them in a charger with a plug in nozzle like charging an electric car (for fast charging) or a three prong cable to charge it. Greenworks just early last year premiered a new version at the CES 2023 showed off the 80 volt riding lawnmower (which I assume can take 82 volt batteries as well) that is 54 inches that showed a new fast charging system that plugged into the back of the mower (which was the biggest complaint of the 60/80 volt riding lawnmower originally), but the video did not showcase the new mower's features and its not on sale yet, only a quick glance at it (but the 60 volt maximus Z mower I think has this feature already but I have to stick with 80 volt or down the line 82 volt because of the platform I chose years ago). My Shed would be an extremely tight fit with a 54 inch bed riding mower and I think I would be more safer using a 42 inch as I would have more wiggle room to get it in and out of the shed (the door is 56 inches wide when opened fully, not including the side chut let fully opened and a leaf collector bag to boot to have the tube stick out on the side, which the 42 inch already has this. I wish we had a garage but its 10s of thousands to make one and we do not have the money for that. So in the end if I had to still chose which mower to get and store, its going to be your mower regardless because it will work best with our yard, compared to the tractor mower which is best for huge country lawns and the best for our shed to store it.
@Finger11225 күн бұрын
@@RizandMe Sorry one last thing about charging the batteries and the amount of batteries to use, if your yard is about 1/4 of an acre, your not going to need all the batteries, only like 2-3 of them most likely of the 6 ah batteries for your 82 volt inside the mower (in my case just 1-2 8.0 ah batteries for 80 volt I imagine). So this may relieve you needing to charge all six at once because of the circuit breaker issue (and it may be best to put one of the duel chargers in a different part of the house so its on a different line), I have three of them now actually from when I bought the two stage snowblower, the pressure washer and the duel battery backpack leaf blower, so I am set there already, I mainly could use the batteries in my case, not really the chargers.

Chem guys aren't the best when it comes to paint correction. I'd look into Adams, Griots Garage, CarPro and many more. Also important to get quality foam pads as cloth/microfibre ones are designed to chew off clear coat and remove as much material as possible compared to a weaker pad like foam.
