Until I heard this recording I thought the lick at the end of the UMich one was the best.

Just one video that unequivocally differentiates between the jazz and classical subtone. Congratulations well deserved. I am a self declared master of the classical subtone and naturally a double lip enthusiast. In you considered opinion and expert knowledge is the jazz subtone totally not possible with the double lip? I am intensely interested in being able to produce and use the jazz subtone and though I am at ease with the single lip embouchure which I find totally unnatural I would like to subtone with the double lip mode. I shall be eagerly looking forward to whatever you have to say on the subject and thank you sincerely.

Probably the only video detailing the difference between the Classical and Jazz Subtones. Though the material was of the greatest interest and concern to me, the speed at which the spoken word was offered, precluded a lucid understanding of what was going on. It would be greatly appreciated if a brief but lucid description be generously offered with reference to the embouchures for each different subtone. Have I understood rightly in assuming that the embouchure for the jazz subtone has the top teeth on the mouthpiece( but where exactly , further than the break or at the tip end or where?) and nothing at all to support the reed from the bottom. And the classical subtone requires a double lip embouchure with the mouthpiece positioned just where? And what does the lower lip do if it does not support or exert pressure on the reed. The Jazz Subtone does not appear to have been considered worthy of any sort of serious scientific investigation or research as against the Classical Subtone which has a sufficient number of scientific, pedantic, university and professional research papers devoted to all aspects of it. You could well be the start of a movement in the right direction by instilling an interest and concern in the Jazz Subtone. Thanking you for the clarification sought( and hopefully offered !) and possibly an even more compressive treatment in pdf form of this most interesting, intriguing and characteristic special effect on the saxophone. The very best to you, young Sir.
