They weren't "predictions", this was based on an actual leaked list from Arcade1up of potential cabs they were considering. Since the list , and this video, came out we've seen leaked images of an AvP big blue and a 720 prototype. Arcade1up also had staff shake-ups, letting go of their VP of licensing, John D. This list was basically his "wish list" for the cabs he was pushing for them to do this year. With him gone, most of that fell apart. So, to answer your question, no -- none of these cabs have come out and it's become less likely we'll see any of them (although I think a few of the XL's are still a possibility down the road). Also, I was very clear in the video of the possibility that none of these might come out. But I have to say...almost a year later, I'm happy people are still watching this video. @@tedadamgreen No worries and thanks for reaching out. Here's what happened to me in better detail. I went to the Retro Shooter site to order a kit and it came up with a default option with extra controllers, stuff I didn't want. So I manually changed it to the very basic kit with just the lightguns, sensors, and console. I also added the additional hub via a checkbox option in case the console didn't cut it and I wanted to upgrade to PC play. I completed the order and it showed exactly what I chose and the price. Fast forward and I get the kit and it ends up being the default one with the extra controllers, the one I didn't want. It also came with different sensors than advertised (which they admitted later they did switch without notice) and it was missing the hub. I contacted them via email to see how we could resolve the issue, and their first email to me was dismissive simply saying "We sent you what you ordered," and provided a screenshot of the order, which was different than what I chose and what the site showed when I ordered. I reached out to them again to have them look at the issue closer, providing expanded information, and this is when I found out what the company was all about. Their second email was a gaslight fest and incredibly rude. They made it clear that their site couldn't make a mistake and that it was my fault, and went so far as to talk down to me by providing pre-school instructions on how one makes an order, "You have to physically pick the package you want, enter your information and click buy," like I somehow couldn't grasp how an order process works. They also asked me to check the automatic email their site sends when an order is placed, which I didn't think to check at the time as the site showed what I ordered. Suffice it to say, the automated email also showed the incorrect kit, the one they sent me. They then proceeded to passive aggressively propose that I might think they could somehow manipulate an order (or their system could), which none of my correspondence even suggests, nor in the slightest way could be interpreted like that. They continued further by listing all the ways they weren't going to help me, how they didn't do exchanges and how I couldn't send the lightguns back to China. Who the heck would even think to send anything back to China, or even have a thought like that cross their mind? I certainly didn't. They basically took this second email to me as an opportunity to put words into my mouth and make it sound like I was trying to shake them down for a $40 part (the hub). Seriously? I politely let them know that I didn't want anything more from them and suggested that they treat future customers better than they did me. Now, I'm in no way suggesting I could never make an mistake, but to not even check the system to see if something might have gone wrong at the time I ordered, looking at logs or something, even if it didn't turn out in my favor, would've been at least the bare minimum of customer service and not make the whole thing feel so shady. Systems do have errors at times, but I guess theirs never does. They instead went all in to discredit what I was saying, belittle me, and drive home that they had no intention of helping. The way I was treated, along with them switching to sensors I didn't even purchase, which might be the cause of my aforementioned problems I stated in my last comment, is why I suggest people not do business with them. I hope this helps and I never intended to be so vague the times before, but as you can see, it is quite the story. Cheers! vgv

Feelings are mixed within the community but there are plenty of people who are OK with this. Look, if you like it...great! Get it and enjoy. As for Costco's - give it time. My understanding is this is showing up in test locations for now but more stores will get it. Supposedly they order somewhere in the neighborhood of 13,000 units...so there should be lots to go around. Thanks for watching.

I wouldn't be too surprised if only the GT games use the trackball, but that's just a guess. And yea, Sinistar is real tough to play on the defender partycade with 8 way. They could do it if this had the 49 way joysticks that blitz used, but I also doubt they would put those on this to accommodate 1 game out of 20.

I don't think these always show on the website. Sometimes they are in-store only. I don't remember the pac-man XL being on the website, but it could be I just missed seeing it on there at the time.

@BillsRetroGamingShow No shit... Arcade1up is finished! Not bringing out new titles (SF3 or Qbert) shows that arcade1up doesn't have vision or money to do anything but to put out garbage!

Thanks for the kind words. I'll be honest, I don't even know what that refit is. I'll have to look it up.

Also, keep in mind that the real Zoltar runs with, I think, three different motors to control movement. The fact that NWT got this to work as well as it does using only 1 internal motor blows my mind.
