As a Marine biologist. In this case was not behaving aggressive but curious it didn't attacked no one because you faced it kept eye contact and didn't try to swim away. The worst one can do is turn your back to the shark.. And if would have approached one can redirected by pushing the head away to one side with a hand. What attracts the shark the most is splashing. One should never swim away from the shark unless safety is close. We have been swimming with grate sharks and Oceanic white tip for 13 years, as i said we face them keep eye contact redirect them if necessary.. Oceanic white tip don't swim with grate sharks they are solitary.

Love these sharks but they are so bold compared to some species, they have absolutely no fear whatsoever😳

Cousteau considered the Oceanic White tip as the most dangerous of shark species. As has already been said, they are often overlooked in favour of the big three.

The thing I hate the most about these types of videos is the fake shark experts in the comments. Always so annoying, condescending, wrong and sociopathic.

Dive with a shark shield and a bang-stick for goldfish that get too aggressive. If the shark shield doesn't deter it, stop playing - out comes the smoke pole. If it gets more aggressive and you can't evade, there's no choice. If a dog in the street attacked you, it would be destroyed without hesitation. People grandstand about a shark trying to kill or maim a human - it's just a fish. Stop virtue-signalling - its just a fish. If it bites a human, the consequences are horrific and/or permanent.

I don't know what's up with the divers today. What we learned in the early 90s about White Tips was short and simple: If there's one in water, get the f*ck out as fast as possible because it will attack!

I pet lemon sharks, but I have no desire to swim with oceanic white and blacktip sharks. When I'm diving with a spearfishing buddy I never have problems with bullsharks. My wetsuit smells like old man pee. His smells like yummy bloody fish. Yep, they check me out then go find the real spearfisherman.

You were lucky. The Oceanic White Tip is ultra aggressive and lethal. Only a fool would be in the water with these. They were systematically seeking a weakness to kill you and eat you.

Between the surface and 5m down it is their zone. Going in the water, negative entry, legs together with one hand on the dump valve. Meet with your dive buddy at 5m and make your way to the reef (if there's one). Underwater below 5m if he is still interested/curious, vertical position, legs close together or crossed. Use your camera or flashlight to gently push him away/redirect if he gets to close. Exit 2 by two if it is a large boat with two ladders, zodiac... ascend from your safety stop or hold location directly on your target, avoid surfacing and swimming. Remember that surface to 5m is their interest area.

Probably the most unpredictable of all the sharks. At least a single great white or tiger if you’re in the water and you can swim up to them and approach them on their level it’s probably a little less disconcerting than being on the surface and having these small sharks zipping around you like this.

Este tiburón es el más letal ,para los náufragos ,es el más víctimas se ha contado ,es un tiburón de alta mar a 20o metros muy agresivo y no es muy aconsejable jugar en esas aguas con el ,puede tener un ataque en cualquier momento .
