I've tried to make myself immune to hype over the years, and it's mostly worked. I didn't get on the Starfield bandwagon even though I've been a lifelong Bethesda fan. But this trailer, man... all the creatures you can be remind me of the Redwall story books by Brian Jaques I read as a child and holy shit, the combination of nostalgia, longing for a new open world fantasy title, and enjoying the hell out of the Worlds update has got me very excited for this.

So far I’ve seen people call the game awesome, mid or crap. So it seems I’ll have to judge it for myself.

The colors are different on different planets. Thats the only difference Ive noticed... These ships must be the easiest way to farm money and ship upgrades. Salvage and collect, and repeat.

I redownloaded No Man’s Sky because Starfield just wasn’t doing it for me. I enjoy the changes that have been implemented in the last year or so for sure. But I’m really bummed that ship building is insanely expensive and time consuming. That’s one thing I love about Starfield. It was much cheaper to build the ship you wanted. All the high end ships really kinda sucked and were expensive. Yes you could put 3x the credits into a build if you wanted but it wasn’t necessary just to get a pretty decent ship early on. I’m also a bit bummed that you can’t build shuttles or salvage their parts. That was my go to ship in this game. I assumed the price of a ship was related to its stats and reactor class. Crazy haulers are so expensive. Most money I’ve had one time in this game was 22 million so when I saw a 60 million Hauler my jaw dropped. It wasn’t even that good of a ship lol.

Here's a little tip to avoid those long walks to find a marker if you don't go inside the planet yet and just kind of like hover over in the atmosphere and kind of go near the location get to the location from space it's easier less to walk

While you may not be able to fire vertically to hit the red 'targeting beam' source during the battle, what would happen if you shoot at the huge glowing ball while it's being formed between the tree's 'hands' in front of its 'face' (ignoring the stomach glowy that happens at the same time)?

Can you do a new video on how to find a good looking freighter post the recent update?

As of now (Aug 2024) you need to use anomaly detectors after getting your first living frigate to find other ones. According to the description, you can find one in each star system. To not waste them, you can activate it and then use the pulse drive in any direction, once it finds something, you can check the "icon" in the bottom right corner to see what it found. (same icon as in this video)
