So sorry to hear that. We'll be praying for you! In the mean time I'd encourage you to reach out to a pastor you trust, They will likely help you process through the bitterness in your life and point you to scriptures that can help. ❤️

I love what Pastor Ed says about the things he has that recall to mind memories of God’s faithfulness. I call these “Stones of Remembrance” in accordance with the stones gathered from the Jordan when the Israelites passed over the Jordan. Each stone a remembrance His faithfulness in an area or situation in my life, He used in the building of my faith. From stone to stone we step forward into His will as He changes us from glory to glory.

Wonderful message. So thankful the battle belongs to the Lord! He will win every time. The 5 smooth stones that David had represented the five fold ministry, evangelists, pastors, teachers, apostles, and prophets. God knew it would just be Goliath.

Agree, worship songs build our trust and hope to the Lord, I feel it really encourages me. I play them on speaker at home, and have klove and air one in my car and sing along the music. I feel like if I’m weak in this area and pray and all spiritual area, my marriage will collapse.. I feel when my relationship with God is strong so is my marriage. My mom and I pray over the phone start with singling first then we pray. Don’t take lightly praising God with songs!!! It’s so powerful. 😇🙏

Great word. I used to think I needed a mentor even after being ordained. Needed to ask them to confirm what God was saying to me etc. God knocked them all off the pedestal I put them on.

I have struggled with anger for decades. This is great advise. The one single thing that has worked best for me is to TRUST THE LORD. Easier said than done sometimes. Sinful anger comes from numerous places but the most common is a root in fear. Giving the problem to God and trusting that His way is best will aid in helping you get around that fear. Lack of trust sometimes is rooted in lack of faith. This may be another place to work on..... I spent decades venting my anger like the experts recommended. This didn't work for me. My problem was a lack of control of the anger. When I started learning how to control my anger and not venting it, I began to gain some positive steps. My anger rears its ugly head when I have numerous attacks coming from several directions. When I feel like I just can't take another hit. Forgiveness is also key to getting ahead of your anger. I thought I was getting good at forgiveness....that is until a surgeon almost killed my wife during an outpatient procedure. That one took me several months to figure out how to forgive. What I finally realized is that I had to get to a place where I could look at that surgeon like Christ sees him. The heart becomes hard very quickly and easily. I had to try really hard to soften my heart and just let things go...
