There is a lot of pessimism about the PMIZ and the SEZs in general....mostly rhetoric.... but i belive in your leadership as the x factor Hon Maru- we only have to look to your district ( YS) for the track record! Deliver this sir for your fellow citizens. Sir also, if I may, we need more JVs to operationalize the other SEZ's. In terms of economic regional integration, the model for sugar production with Thailand in Abau, can be replicated but diversified with other ASEAN partners. Eg Philippines- rice, Indonesia - Cattle, Malaysia -Oil Palm/ Foresty, Singapore - petroleum products refinery? Australia has one now with limestone/cement if im not mistaken. We can invite China, India, Japan and others, seconding their leading companies to developed the other SEZs. With SEZs functional we can create domestic demand for labour and mobilize our human capital sir with opportunites. From this expanding tax base then we can really look at investments into improving the social sector - health, education and environment being paramount.

People can use knowledge to make any decisions to favor one or another to keep their bread and butter. Wisdom speaks softly to the hearts of man. Only one person who listens to the soft voice of the wisdom will speak it for the majorities.. Christians are praying silently to God Almighty to touch these respectable parliamentarians to change this spending spree government...

Good one. Let the battle begin. Opposition has only 33 MPs and why is the PM afraid of. Face the VONC. Stop running to the courts to stop the motion of no confidence. Let us all stay calm. Mother Nature has already spoken. We should have a new Prime Minister anytime soon.

It is not about the opposition ! PNG and the entire MPs in the goverment side , JMPM Roso govement is turning down png into the dogs , i am simply asking all MPs on the goverment side to leave immediately and join hands with the opposition for the betterment of png , we have seen many issues right under our nose that the JMPM Roso goverment is creating for the people of this nation and not able to fix them , so called issues which require immediate rectification but failed by JMPM Roso goverment , the hughe and critical issue is the inflation and law & order and many, many more you can name , they are not able to manage the country please join hands with opposition you MPs on the goverment side , thank you

How about the cairns conservatorium purchased by then NPF under devious circumstances with your involvement in the 1990s? Sin em sin. Your "Sir" with that kinda background make knighthood in PNG a laughable joke. Otherwise thank you for listening to your provincial leaders voice on the matter and charge of it

America is a republic and not democratic. PNG is a democratic nation where the voice of it people must be heard. Right now the people despise PM JM. The people want a new PM. At least JM can go back and fix the lawlessness in his home province. Leave the PM office to MPs who can get the job done.

anybody talk 😂 All I've seen & heard to date is all talk, talk, talk, & more talk. Nothing realistic happening on the ground. Agriculture nothing, Health nothing, What about a system where students have career opportunities after school? Nothing like that is evident. Everyone goes to school, and parents pay more to the government & after everything's over, what's next? Our education system has no real support after students graduate. In reality, the government wants only money from people who kill themselves in the sun & rain. Wow Con man blo samarai. 😂

Mr A.Bird, great speech. When you become the next Prime Minister of PNG, would you please take up the research work and writings of Charles Able on BLUE and GREEN ECONOMY and PERSUE it to make it happen? Because the way you speak of that paper tells me, there must be alot of good stuff in it for PNG Economy. What do you think AB? Please don't let that writings collect dust on the shelf of the big house at Waigani.
