Great explainer vid. I had my second lot of steroid injections this afternoon, I work 9-5 each day typing on a laptop, they advised me I should fully rest the hand and not even type for the next couple of days, would this really be the case ? Do you need to rest your hand to that extent after the injection? Might be a tricky one to explain to the boss...!

Since the results are sent to the referring doctor, does it mean that that referring doctor will decide on what to do ? It seems that the neurologist would be better trained with what options are available.

2018 Diagnosed multiple, degenerative meniscal tears right knee, meniscal tears no blood zone, I hurt them by getting legs trapped beneath myself when my feet became slid on a greasy tiled floor, became stuck & rooted to the spot mid fall from coming to a full stop falling from about 3 to 4 meters up, I jumped backward from collapsing step ladder A Frame and tried to land on feet unfortunately i could either go backwards or forwards fleeing over backward hitting the middle of my spine on something "I felt" , thought I'd broke my back at 1st, possibly did suffer some compression injurys, I went back to work after 8 days of being unable to walk, too naproxen and being able to stand on the 7th day and could weight bear again walking would be uncomfortable, I found it would worsen without frequent rests and hot baths big joints of weed and the odd tipple, all the drugs the doctor gave made me ill. 🤢 I trying to sue someone from incompetence in recording my injuries falsely. Currently 7 years on I cant squat the knees give way, occasionally get stuck locking, it's difficult to stand up as it's painful upon loading the joints, I can't hold weight on either knee singularly, they ache terribly after any exersize with weightbearing, and stairs have worsened to the point every step is uncormtable and also causes progressive lasting pain. So I have officially diagnosed tri compartmental OA r knee, both knees I suspect as symptoms all started same time, diagnosed oa spine years after fall, synovial osteochrondromatosis. They're all supposedly pre existing and nothing to do with the fall according to fudged up medical record I never even fell from a ladder I fell out of some stairs and twisted the r knee....... Severe sleep aponea, and apparently fibromyalgia, I need perfect exersize for knee lower back & neck. And reminders to do them. If you wouldn't mind giving me a call thanks lol glhf

I had surgery for a meniscus tear, two months later I needed a partial knee replacement. Seven months after my partial knee I needed a total knee replacement. Once that scope enters that capsule it’s a crap shoot.

The same 2 fingers on both my hands are doing this, started soon after I began weeding and clearing my garden. When finger bends it locks up and I have to take my hand and pullbit back up.

12 to 18 for some ligaments and tendons? That's wild. I've been in pain for about 3 months and I so want to go back to the gym but the last time I tried, I felt so useless there and I felt like I was doing more damage than good. Man this sucks. I don't even know how this even occurred.

I have a big hard Dupuytren nodule at the base of right pinky finger. If the needle gets injected there, is there a risk the enzime may dissolve and break the tendon underneath and then i would not be able to close that finger?

My surgery is in 9 days. After watching the video on the procedure I've worked myself up and wanting to cancel it 😮, I will be knocked out during it so I won't know what's happening, its what they do, the shaving of the bone on both sides, the drilling on the arm side, the metal parts. The thing that's really freaking me out is the recovery after. How much sore it will be on that place and how sore it will be when I start moving it. I don't know if I'll have a cryotherapy cuff? I was told about a block that the surgeon will put there so that there's less movement and less pain because they don't want to rely on pain medication but it will be available if it gets severe 😮😢 I've had surgeries before I don't know why I'm getting all worked up for this one. 😮

the first thing to do is stop drinking beverages other than water. They steal minerals from your body, starting with the cartilages. Next, get a brace for the thumb for night time.

Our manager booked a day of bowling for our team but since I was suffering from CTS I had no intention of going, but I was persuaded by the manager who reassured me that I could spectate only, not participate. After spectating for a while, the manager pulled me out of the seat saying 'come on, have a go'. I thought the only way to get him off my back was to try to bowl. I can tell you that it was very painful, but something happened, I can honestly say that I have no idea how many balls were bowled, but the pain had disappeared, I only noticed the pain had gone after I stopped playing and sat down again. That was about 20 years ago, I've never suffered from it since.

I'm on disability for a severe chronic venous insufficiency after 2019 it just got the best of me in Arkansas you have to make three times the amount of money to even rent an apartment so I just reached out and got a part-time job I hadn't worked in 5 years now all the stuff that was going on with my legs is coming all back again I'm getting rash all around and I've looked at the stages of chronic venous insufficiency. And I was told a couple years ago by my primary doctor that I had carpal tunnel what I'm doing part-time involves me using my right hand constantly this video is just got me in a whirlwind because that's all I do with my hand is I put clothes on hangers and hang up clothes on hangers and hang on my not primary doctor just retired about 6 months ago does anyone know what type of gas or I would go to to see for my thumb and my hand is it is a severe pain especially when I'm having to use it
