I know you're an Arsenal fan, but in order to give a fair review of the match you'd very much need to mention that Sane (not fully fit) & Gnabry (hamstring) had to go off ... these substitutions had a big effect on Bayern. I like your point of view as a non- book fan of the movies and Tolkien stories. Rings of Power tried to be like the Peter Jackson LOTR films - they copied so much but did it very poorly. As for following the second age story written in the “Tale of Years” appendix of the LOTR book, well forget it! The show isn’t following the second age storyline in the appendix. They’re using Tolkien’s character names, races, and places but the show is not depicting any of it accurately/ faithfully as written in The Tale of Years appendix. Very very very disappointed.

Good thoughts. There is in fact a backstory for Galadriel in Unfinished Tales. She is proud, self-willed and ambitious to rule a realm of her own, but nevertheless has marvellous insight into the minds of others. She excels in athletic feats, so for me it's OK for her to be a warrior. It's material Amazon doesn't have rights to, but I don't see why they couldn't have adopted the characterisation without using the actual wording. They had Tolkien's plan but they thought theirs was better. Paradoxically the "strong woman" is made to look stupid and incompetent and has her best film lines fed to her by her enemy ("stronger than the foundations of the Earth" etc). I don't think the chief writers (Payne and McKay) are particularly "woke", or that the show is. Payne is publicly a Mormon and McKay also has a "religious" background, they've said. However the "wokeness" seems to be a filter on the writers and consultants they can use, meaning they are completely ignorant about things like mediaeval/fantasy warfare, feudal monarchy, magic systems, etc. A side effect could be that the show is very unamenable to game spinoffs and role playing-related merchandise, which are sizeable markets.

Searching internet for answers. Only problem is no one showing version of where you have to find the verses on tomb and highlight. All videos i see are of wordsearch version.
