how did you hold the OSMO 3 with the transmitter of the Dji mic 1 being plugged ? did it bother you in any way ? I do a lot of vlogging and im just curious. I don’t want to buy the creator combo since i have the Mic 1. Please help ? 🙏
@frommyeyesvrАй бұрын
I usually use a selfie stick/tripod underneath the pocket 3. Just gives me more reach and with it's built in tripod a place to put it down. Because the DJI plugs directly into the USB c its pretty secure and I didn't worry about bumping it cause I was holding the selfie stick beneath it. Hope that helps
@DanielLatinelАй бұрын
@@frommyeyesvr would it be a problem if i don’t have a selfie stick or tripod? I don’t intend to get either and just use the Osmo 3 as it is.
@HereTodayWhereTomorrowАй бұрын
@@DanielLatinelI wouldn't see it interfering. Should be fine to use it. May just be slightly awkward to hold.

Did you connect the mic via the extension handle? Is this possible? I can't find anyone who has confirmed. Thanks in advance!
@HereTodayWhereTomorrow7 ай бұрын
Yea. It's just an extension of the USB. It transfers all the data regardless of it being the battery handle or just the little extension handle.

Hi Rob, great video. I have DJI dual receiver mics too. So you mean I can just plug the receiver via the type c extension mouth below the camera and it will work? If this is so, my dual mics will not be wasted. Thanks for your video n I look forward to your reply. Thanks. Eugene from Singapore.

@@eugeneng5668 YES! I just plugged it in the USB c Port on the Pocket 3 and the DJI Mic 1 worked perfectly!

I can already tell you know the secret to good VR180-it's keeping the camera position fixed and letting the action happen. Moving camera shots almost always cause headaches or nausea- even with experienced viewers.

one of the best CALF VR180 uploads so far! How do you edit? I'm slack in skill when it comes to even putting 2 clips together. I mean, I remember sony Vegas, but do you have to re-inject the VR180 meta data after the final render anyway? Awesome work man!
@frommyeyesvr7 ай бұрын
Thanks! I use Shotcut which is a free video editor, and then re-enter the meta data using the old Google software. I'll do a whole walkthrough tutorial soon!

YES! Very good point. Few people understand the limits of 3D photography and get too close to their subject. Our eyes can't converge on the subject because the lenses don't converge. In traditional 3D photography there is the 30:1 rule, which is a simple rule of thumb to avoid being too close. Your subject should be no closer than 30 times the distance between your lenses. Usually that works out to 5-7 feet away.

Between people getting right up on the lens, And the moving of the camera I about get sick! Put it on a tripod and don't touch it! I was testing a video with the camera on a gimbal and moving really slowly then I watched it back in the headset and literally almost threw up it was so bad! LoL thanks for commenting and watching!

Nice video about a good VR180 camera. Please don't take offence, but it would improve your videos if you make an effort not to say "go ahead". The phrase means nothing, you can remove it from any sentence and the meaning will be more clear. Once a viewer is aware of the excessive use of that meaningless phrase, it becomes irritating.
